Just wondering if anyone knows any fool-proof ways of converting .wps files into word document files...i only have microsoft works, and need to send a CV off in word document format...any ideas?

Copy the CV into a notepad document then send the file as a .txt document

Come to think of it microsoft word (recent versions) have inbuilt filters which can open any works files.

Sometimes the requirement for a CV is a formatted word .doc though.

However, there is a nice workaround. Almost all windows word processors, works included, can save as Rich Text Files (.rtf)

This lets you format the document with indents, varying fonts and sizes, etc.

All you have to do to "convert" it to a word document is to rename the .rtf file, to .doc

Sorted
