I opened Word just this morning and went to type something in and had about 10 fonts there for some reason. All of my fonts have gone. Especially the font which I wanted to use. Does anyone know how I can get them back since I haven't deleted them or anything. THanks.

If you installed it using a disk then simply uninstall ad install again.

There are also font packs on the internet so you might find them there.

There should be a repair installation option on Office if its a recent version.

You've checked the font folder i assume?

Yeah I have checked the font folder yesterday and I was near to tears cos it was so empty. And I didn't install it lol. Some guy came and did it and took all the installation disks with him :O for some reason. And where would I find a repair installation option on office.

The repair option is only on the disks.

You can also find thebasic fonts on the windows CD, they used to be avaliable from microsoft.com as well but i cant find them at the moment.

Edit - after a lot of hunting i've found a link to a basic windows font pack on the MS forums :

http://www.mediafire.com/?edwtkt1egat

Its quite big (18Mb) but seems to be fairly comprehensive and most importantly virus free. As with all free font packs some of them will be pretty poor quality though i suspect.

Wont be as good as reinstalling office but should give you some more to play with.

In what way is not not working on your computer?

If you provide more details of your situation (such as your Operating System) the users helping you will be able to address the problem with greater ease.
