Looking to buy a new computer in the next month, as my current one is terrible, what do you lot make of this. Bearing in mind that i already have a monitor, and a router, so i dont really need them:

go on ebay you can get a much better deal for a better spec for a brand new computer

Dont trust ebay for electrical equipment, no guarantee's etc...

some of them have guarantees. look for sellers with feedback over a few thousand and youll see if theyre trustworthy or not.

I just had a quick look and saw many with a 12 month warranty.

Plus if you pay £300 for something thats better than what youre gonna pay £700 for you can afford for it to break once and have to buy a new one
tho seriously some of these guys make a living doing what pc world etc do but for cheaper. they want you to buy with them again in the future so theyre not gonna rip u off for a couple of hundred quid

It is perfectly possible to buy a fully warrantied product from E-Bay.
To me, that reads like a Dell spec sheet too, which IMO is an avoid at all costs situation, same with PcWorld.
Could go custom, if you know what you're talking about, its so much cheaper.
