I dont know what i did, but i loaded Microsoft Outlook and nothing was there!

Ugh, Microsoft Outlook is an awful place to keep emails.
Have you tried the junk mail folder or the trash can? They might be lingering about in saved items folders etc.


Why not use yahoo or fsmail? Lots more secure...

Hmm Cant find them in any of those folders...

It may be that the settings have something like "save inbox messages for X days"
Only other thing i can think of sorry.

Its like i had X numbers of emails since i had Outlook. The next day, all of them have gone...

Before we go any further, are you using proper Outlook, or Outlook Express.

Okies, thats ok then they dont get much better (OE is a mess tho!)

Your local emails are stored as .pst file(s) and should be in the C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook folder.

Best option is to search the whole drive for *.pst and see where they've gone.

After a few mins.. I found one file called outlook3.pst.
