Tonight had Biffy Clyro and White Lies which would have been better but nevermind
Anyway the with-child Lily was actually quite good - didnt go much on The Big Pink but enjoyed White Rabbits
As expected, Muse were pretty impressive

My Chemical Romance at Hammersmith Apollo tonight. Fantastic show - and even more enjoyable as I was not planning on going but saw tickets for sale below face value on E-Bay this afternoon and couldn't resist.

Stone Sour & Avenged Sevenfold tonight - truth be told I'm a little bit disappointed the Avenged set only appears to be 10 songs and no encore but oh well. Will have to catch them when they next comeback headlining.

Well it may have only been 10 songs - but what a show and what a live band Avenged are. M Shadows even gave the crowd the chance to pick the last song.
Stone Sour closed and again were spot on - particularly Corey Taylor's voice.
All in all a cracking night - even getting out of Birmingham wasn't too bad this time

whats that? 45 minutes??? shameful!!!
Rock bands that are twice there age play for twice as long....AX7 still dont know how to give value for money....id expect a good support band to do 30 mins.....
the feeling of being short changed would be on my mind, all bands i see are great live and put on a great show.........

It was about 70 minutes I think - with Stone Sour closing it off last night doing about 75-80 minutes.
I think as co-headliners they take in turns to go second or last. But I think Avenged have been renowned for short sets for a while. Hopefully with 4 albums of material now any sole headlining tour in future will be a proper 25ish song list. I have read they didnt want to make this tour as headliners so as not to be seen as disregarding the loss of The Rev but I think that was a mistake. But what do I know?

good point, i have heard bad things from short sets......not good, but 2 quality bands together, not bad when all things considered

They actually have at least 6 with Diamonds in the Rough - but I discounted that one because its a mixture of covers and remixes and I discounted Sounding The Seventh Trumpet because there is only one track I listen to off there and don't believe A7X would perform any of those songs live again.

Anyway.....Motorhead last Tuesday night on there 35th anniversary tour, with Mike Munroe ex Hanoi Rocks in Support and some other band 1st on that i missed as i was in the pub talking to Motorheads roadies and being interviewed
