The Funky League Sweepstakes

Alright lads sweepstakes is open and really simple to do, watch the thread for new games posted and predict the scores on the games each week. The scoring for this is well known by zantetsukenz so he will explain it.

You can not predict on your own teams scoreline though so remember that. The next fixture is posted on the thread and the link to it is below. Predictions posted before 8PM on game night count.

For all those who ever did the fantasy football in the funkypool league you may have also done "I Know The Score" (IKTS). Basically the scoring is taken from that. You make predictions on the scoreline of a match, and get points depending on what the outcome actually is.

wrong outcome -10 (you predict 1-0, score is 0-1)
right outcome, wrong score +10 (you predict 1-0, score is 3-0)
right outcome, right goal difference +15 (you predict 1-0, score is 2-1)
correctly predicted draw, incorrect amount of goals +20 (you predict 1-1, score is 0-0)
correct result exactly +30 (you predict 4-2, score is 4-2)

Each turn you make 9 predictions (10 matches - 1 match which involves the team you manage). If you fail to make a prediction, then to prevent it benefitting you, you recieve the same score as the person who scored the lowest in the round or 0 (whichever is lowest) so if Jay and me got 60 and 30 and Fry didn't make a prediction, he would recieve a 0. If Jay and me got -40 and -20, fry would recieve -40.

If you know you will be away for a few days and unable to make a prediction, feel free to make predictions for more than just 1 turn. As long as it's clear it's 2 different turns.

Anyone confused by the scoring, don't worry, it's simple enough to pick up and you just have to try and get as close to the actual scoreline as possible

New formation and tactics are working a treat!

QOTS - Two new records and A.AYEW was amazing! Still second but will catch Hamilton very soon.

Newcastle - Brilliant result which keeps me in third and now only four points being Man United and five behind Arsenal thanks to both of them drawing in their games.

Sunderland - Another great match and result, increases my lead at the top of that league.

Hearts - Good result to start the season off, in first just now.

Barcelona - Great result in the friendly with Dex, was testing out the formation there to for Barcelona, bring on City tomorrow!

Sorted for tonight, snooker league I have tough game against Dex's West Ham. New season in the minnows league, mine and Dex's campaign in div 4 kicks off, Dan and Fry restart their div 5 promotion aspirations. And Dex's Real Madrid in the funky league should be another tough game for me.

I have a 78 rated player out on loan at the moment (though he was 73 went he actually left)

I'll can't accept the bids till after the current fixtures have been played, but i'll accept them as soon as they've been played

I was in there like swim wear lol

but have had to settle for assambologna or how ever you spell it lol

I thought he was a bit too low rated to mention haha.

Cracking game, either side could've won it. Happy though because I'm thinking Dex's Real Madrid is probably the toughest in the league, and my underdog's showed they were no pushovers

I lose 4 - 0, possession was mine my shots on target where good, a Rooney goal was offside, i swear this game is so stupid sometimes. Fair enough on a loss though but jesus.
