FCL Announcement - Individual League

Fixture Stage

This season we have introduced bonus points in the Leagues to give an incentive to get games played. For each League there is a minimum amount of games that must be completed by the end of each League fixture, if a player meets this minimum they will receive 5 bonus points.

Below shows the schedule for each Individual League and how many games in total must be completed by each fortnight, this schedule runs alongside the normal FCL League. If you complete more than the minimum then you will not lose out on bonus points, the figures below are a minimum and as long as you have completed the minimum amount of games you will still receive the bonus points.

If all the Division Two clans pass the Pre-Season Friendlies there will be an additional fixture in the League, this will mean there is a 2 week break between the Fixture Stage and the Knockout Stage.

Knockout Stage

The knockout stage of the Individual Leagues will run alongside the FCL Clan Cup. This stage consists of the top 8 players from the Fixture Stage. The Clan Cup runs for 3 weeks so this stage will be broken down into three 1 week fixtures, for example...

Week 1 of Clan Cup - Quarter Finals of Individual League Knockouts (8 Players)
Week 2 of Clan Cup - Semi Finals of Individual League Knockouts (4 Players)
Week 3 of Clan Cup - Finals of Individual League Knockouts (2 Players)

(Dates of Knockout Stage to be confirmed due to Division Two schedule potentially needing adjustments)

The tables for the Individual Leagues have now been updated to the website, I will post a reminder on all clan threads then the Individuals start as outlined above, any games played before the above dates will not be counted. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me.

Incase anyone missed this at the start of sign-ups, the scoring will be as follows...

10.5 Scoring

Stage One; Win = 5 points, Draw = 3 points and a Loss = 1 point

An additional 5 points will be awarded to all players who complete the minimum games to be played by each fortnight.

Stage Two; no scoring system as this will be a straight knockout.

Unless im missing something here- you say a draw is 3 points, how does a person draw so to speak if they play 5 frames of their chosen type?

Are you still having a seperate title based on the usual frames won? Else as soon as you get to 3 it's game over

There is an award for both the winner of Stage 1 (Plate) and Stage 2 (Cup).

Lee, having considered your post, I think recognition will be given to the person who racks up the most frame wins, therefore everyone should play the full 6 frames

So this has basically turned into the super league but individuals? What was wrong witht the way it was just a league you play everyone once?
