FCL Announcement - Individual League

PLEASE READ ALL THE INFORMATION CAREFULLY SO YOU HAVE A FULL UNDERSTANDING OF THE FORMAT OF THIS LEAGUE

Fixture Stage

This season we have introduced bonus points in the Leagues to give an incentive to get games played. For each League there is a minimum amount of games that must be completed by the end of each League fixture, if a player meets this minimum they will receive 5 bonus points.

Below shows the schedule for each Individual League and how many games in total must be completed by each fortnight, this schedule runs alongside the normal FCL League. If you complete more than the minimum then you will not lose out on bonus points, as long as you have completed at least the minimum amount of games you will still receive the bonus points.

In the event of a player leaving the League or getting banned, scores will be removed from games with that player and the minimum number of games will be reduced in the final fortnight.

Scoring

10.5 Scoring

Each game consists of 6 frames

Stage One; Win = 5 points, Draw = 3 points and a Loss = 1 point

An additional 5 points will be awarded to all players who complete the minimum games to be played by each fortnight.

Stage Two; no scoring system as this will be a straight knockout.

Most Frame Wins

There will be a separate acknowledgement for the player who collects the most frame wins from each game type, this will however remain anonymous until the Individual League has finished so winners can be announced collectively. This will only be calculated from the fixture stage, the knockout frames will not be included. Players are therefore encouraged to complete all 6 frames of their game type. Refusal to complete all frames will result in the player who left handing their opponent the remaining frames.

Knockout Stage

The knockout stage consists of the top 8 players from each game type from the Fixture Stage. This stage will be broken down into three 1 week fixtures following on from a one week break between stages, for example...

12th August 2012 - 19th August 2012 - Break

19th August 2012 - 26th August 2012 - Knockout Stage One

26th August 2012 - 2nd September 2012 - Knockout Stage Two

2nd September 2012 - 9th September 2012 - Knockout Stage Three (Final)

Details of the knockout will be released after the Fixture Stage has finished.

The individual League will not be updated for a good few days people, unfortunately pixie_dust's laptop charger has decided it was time to die. . Hopefully getting a new one in the next few days. The leagues will be fully updated on her return, she can browse on her phone but can't do updates.
