Is anyone in the UK having connection problems with Virgin Media Internet?

Keeps cutting off on me and when i finally do connect its slow as anything, 30 mgb a second i should be on and when ive tested the connection is 112 kb a second

17_m which modem do you have?

As they are upgrading in simple terms do you have the 'old grey 1' if so ring up say you got a problem and they will replace it for it being 'outdated' and Virgin are still the best BB provider out there

Im from liverpool i happen to believe that my brother being on xbox live playing MW3 is having its affect on my connection, for a 30mb connection its really stupid that it cant handle an Xbox and a laptop at the same time

I dunno which modem i have mate but its not grey ive got a black one

I am with Sky for my internet and other stuff, i get great connection usually. I find it does go kind of bad when my sister and her mate are both on their laptops and brother in law is sitting on his Xbox.

Xbox seems to interupt the connection more than a PS3 does though
