I am aware there is a GTA5 thread but was just wondering if anyone has used the older ps2 games on ps3 and have they worked? If so which ones and what GB is the ps3 used?

Backwards compatibility was only available when the "1st batch" of PS3's were released in the UK. I believe it was available on the early 60gb and 80gb models.

Only way I know of is to download an emulator for PC. Don't know if it's possible for ps3 yet

Only way too play PS2 games on the PS3 console is by buying the rare 60GB console, some of them are selling on ebay for 100 quid or more

I don't see why Rockstar don't rerelease them.
GTA3 revolutionised games should be usable.

20Gb, 60Gb and some 80Gb models.

However, all of these models are no longer in production. Your best bet would be Ebay if you want a PS3 which supports PS2 backwards compatibility.

Aye might as well buy a ps2 lol.
