England got lucky there. Didn't play too well and personally I thought Scotland were robbed by the ref asking the wrong question on their disallowed try. He quite clearly got a hand on the ball when it was on the ground. Too many mistakes from Scotland though and poor handling errors. Scotland to finish 5th, England 4th. Predicted final standings:

France
Ireland
Wales
England
Scotland
Italy

correct.....was never a try

I am not a rugby fan but dont mind watching the 6 nations and knew our lead at half time would not last , typical scotland making the usual 40 plus errors a match to help the opposition out and as if they need any help when playing us anyway

ach aye the noo an all that ...always next year eh?

Motion of the ball changes as his hand goes past it, the debate is whether or not he had 'downward pressure'. I'm certain he touches it as there is a clear change in how the ball is moving but downward pressure there is no proof of and is very unclear. Video ref needs 100% proof to award a try when asked 'is it a try, yes or no' so cannot give it. If asked 'is there any reason why I can't award the try?', video ref needs 100% proof that it isn't and probably has to give it as from the replays you cannot be certain there is no downward pressure, it's only probable.

Having said that, I played full back at school and if I was defending then that was 120% definitely not a try .
