Played my semi final players match against Davybaumers and i managed to win it somehow
8us 6-2
9us 6-2
8uk 3-5
Played decent on the us table but i really need to step up my uk game i need a race i think who fancies it

Decider (9-Ball): 1-0
He came out firing, not making a mistake until the 4th frame. I wasted the chance with a poor miss and he took a 4-0 lead. We then traded frames for the rest 8US, which he took 3-7. I either hadnt woken up yet or was just playing poorly in general.
9-Ball he got of to a 2-0 lead again, until I managed to rattle off a few in a row (9-Ball Endurance final remembrance games). I ended up taking them 6-4, which at least put me within earshot for 8UK.
8UK is apparently his least favorite game. I had the advantage in most of these and it went tied at 14-14 into the final two frames. I had my best breakoff of the night, leaving everything open for the runout. I underhit the very next shot, leaving him an easy clearance for the 15-14 lead. Next frame he got unfortunate with a split and I was able to take it. TIED!
Decider I went for 9-Ball. He broke off, didnt pot and left a shot on the 1. I made it a got a shot on the 2. The rest was fairly simple. Two easy combinations and the rest were open.
Having it go to a decider was fitting- both deserved the win I think.

Not a classic by any standard both missed some terrible shots i did make a nice runout in 8us and Alan should have ranout in 9us but the 7 decided it wanted to play with the jaws both sloppy in UK too
As always its a pleasure to play against Alan top player and a top bloke

I played deciding frame between myself and graftonspile (UK) and it was 1-0 to me!
