I have just spilt a small amount of beer on my laptop and because of it my touchpad will not let me be the boss of it lol...basically the arrow of mouse on screen is just sitting in one spot and not moving to my responces.

is it ruined or is there a slight chance of it waking up from its sleep and working again??

Iv got a solution, get a USB optical mouse!

just threw one out mate lol as me and the misses have a lappy each and she won't be happy me taking hers too much

Maybe just let it dry out mate, even if it was a small amount. This is the reason i hardly drink when playing or anything like that and if i do i made sure i was either away from the laptop or my keyboard and mouse.

buy about 20 quids worth of rice put all the rice in a massive container and put your laptop in it!... the rice drys up all the water i do it with my phones all the time im allways dropping it in the sink and stuff lol
