1. scrap individual win bonus, bring back overall win bonus / draw bonus
2. might extend the lifted restrictions to last 48 hours of the fixture instead of 24 hours
3. lift all time restrictions on sub/swaps apart from implement a "no swap reverse" element, where we avoid this constant back and forth swapping and reversing
4. increase swaps to 2 per fixture instead of 1, this may help people get games played

1. Why do you want to scrap it? Has it not worked? I don't like any win bonuses but that's another story. I would hope that we can find a system and keep it though. It's tiresome when the format changes every season.

2. Up to you.

3. Yes, lift all time restrictions. NO to reversing the swaps! That's the only possible defense we have against what you guys call "match-fixing". When one team swaps, we make the same swap if we dont like theirs. There's no need to restrict this.

4. Why not make swaps unlimited then? That would help even more.

Here are my main points though-
there should be as little interference by the league runner into the games as possible.
No need for extra rules governing who can sub when into what games. Captains should also be allowed to run the clans as they wish. If I want to add a player that's been offline 4 months, I should be allowed to add him. That's not something for the league runner to restrict.

Depending on what the killer scoring is now (no idea), bring it back to how it used to be. Number of remaining players of the winning team determines score: 1 player = 4:2; 2 players = 5:1; 3 players = 6:0.

Also for killer: Allow clans to play with any combination of players that they agree on. If they want to play a 7v7 game, then let them! If the want to play 7v3, allow that too! The idea is that it's fun for the players, not restricted by unnecessary rules.

I completely agree with you, that I should have as little input as possible in terms of getting games played, the only one i really wish to maintain is the lifting of restrictions on the last 2 days incase there is an absent captain although any decent captain should be online deadline day anyway where necessary

Oh and killer will be how it was, once I get it officially cleared up what it was meant to be last season.

From what i am aware is the FBL not about segregated disciplines ?

To allow unlimited subs would then defeat the whole purpose of the league !!!!

What i would propose is a team sheet of 16 put forward to league runners per fixture to keep the league as it was built for.

Example.

8US : 2x players submitted and 2x subs
9US : 2x players submitted and 2x subs
8UK : 2x players submitted and 2x subs
STR : 2x players submitted and 2x subs

I would say 4 swaps per fixture instead of the current 1 per fixture over the disciplines and keep the sub out sub in policy for a said discipline.

The named subs are made public at the same time as fixture release so no " secret weapon " is hiding on the bench.

This could also allow games to be played without authorisation from captains etc with named subs.

The downside is once again fixing, maybe a 4 day before you can make a change and a complaints committee set up pre season to deal with changes made. ( EVIDENCE to be supplied before making a claim to league runner ) Then sorted via pixie stuff n all and approved or overturned within a 12 hour period by the active committee.

I realise this would be a bit more work and getting it up and running could be a headache to start with for some.

Although that looks a great idea written down think about the current ongoing/just finished season.

Snooker squad
Unbeatables
Untouchables

We're all running on just 9/10 players come the end of the season, how are we meant to know before hand which 2 specific games we will need subs for? Say a player of ours is absent due to whatever reason, and he is in a 9 ball fixture but our subs are named for straight and uk...

You get my point.

I don't like the idea of named subs before hand, it is obvious to everyone who all your subs are if they go on the clan website so should be no shock if someone else who they believe may be better is to sub in.

Yeah get it big time if you don't have the full squad. Maybe a exception for the subs called 1 - 8 only the runner would know by your list.

If not a 16 strong clan then utilise your remainder that are not picked by double upping in some cases

May i ask why don't you have a full squad ?

People left people offline a while people deactivating people inactive people on holiday people with better things going on, I had 16 players but only about 10 active.

Also it is not a requirement of the league to have a full squad of 16 only 10 I think the requirement is.

If others could tweak my thinking and show a bit then maybe discussions will mean something in he end instead of ignored advice.

The FBL will not have any committees set up for complaints or whatever, if there are issues, message me directly.

Naming the subs prior to the fixture release will only make things worse for the original player. Not only have they got to arrange a suitable time and day to play their match, but now they are aware of another player who maybe more able to play 'breathing down their neck'.

Subs should be used sometimes 'as an ace card, as a means of convenience, as a reliable team player, etc'.

Im sure if a list of say 4 subs were submitted 1 hour before release and kept secret only between the League Runners and Vices then that could work, making them public is a silly idea i feel. Only the 4 listed are permitted to be subbed and should any of them be unable too be available then 1 swap of the 4 will be permitted.

If a team constantly chooses who they deem their best players then it may cause distress and hostility within their team, so the captain should try their best not too assist causing poss unrest.

Maybe there should be a maximum amount of games a player can be used as a sub? Just trying think of some new things.

But say a league runner is on your team? Or you have close ties to said league runner?

Only you and them have seen the lists very easily changed, especially if you bribe with Arcade tokens or something...

I like the subs and swaps the way they are now.

i think if a player is subbed out of a game he should be able to be subbed back into any game type because its unfair on the player if hes subbed out of 8us and both 8us games get played i lose a sub as he cant play anymore game types

also if a lesser team beats a bigger team they should get 2 bp

if they get within 10 pts they should get a bp

I'm not in favour of all these bonus points tbh, you should get the correct amount of points your team achieves, maybe at the end of the season the scores could be reviewed and bonus points awarded then only but during the season not for me.

I'd prefer an accurate reflection in to how my team were actually performing, then try to act upon it, for example if losing more in 8uk then to bolster that side of the team etc.

IF people were happy with the way the subs/swaps are then there would be no problems mich, but they aren't. I think the term 'Tacical Subbing/Swaps' should be banned tbh and IF ppl actually think about it ALL subs(most) are made depending on how their team is performing score wise. Not everyone will admit it but it's called being 'strategical', than tactical.

I'm only trying to see what ideas Jema could consider, not that any will but it's an open forum/discussion.
