Hello and welcome to my great tournament which i will be running for 16 lucky people

How this tournament is ran :

8 players split into 2 divisions

Top 2 get automatically promoted but 3rd to 6th will do play offs where

3rd will play 6th
4th will play 5th
Winner of the play offs will be promoted along side 1st and 2nd

However in division 1 the bottom 2 players will automatically get demoted but 5th and 6th will be in the danger zone of a final play off , loser will get demoted along side 7th and 8th

Layout of the games

Every frame you win , gains you a point
games will have a deadline and need to be finished unless a valid reason there will be extended time.

1 games of 8uk
2 games of 9 us
1 game of 8 ball us
1 game of straight

a score can be up to 5 - 0 , 4 - 1 , 3 - 2

Just to remind you the divisions will be seeded

How are you going to seed players =/

i will look overall ranking basis then i will put them into groups of highest ranking order (top 8 in division 1) (bottom 8 in division 2)

That could lead to some arguments maybe? Some top players about don't have large overall rank anymore as well rank is boring so the seeding would be unfair on some low able players. Just my opinion like good luck with this anyway

Thank you bluenose1872 , that it is a fantastic way of putting the bad side but its only about fun , i intend this tournament be an exciting chance to just play the game against others . If it causes arguments , then i'll simply just return the issue by sorting it out , thanks for the helpful words of wisdom though

are the fixtures just play anyone in your group at anytime, or are they set fixtures with like a week deadline?

if you see a player on , just play them , and results will be set here , i will keep record and you have to play a number of games before a certain date

imo.... playoff format should be.....

7th and 8th in div 1 relegated

1st and 2nd div2 promoted

6th in div1 vs 5th in div2
3rd div2 vs 4th div2

just for the simple reason it seems mad that someone finishing 6th out of 8 can get promoted.

and 1 game of 9 so draws are possible? 4-0 3-1 or 2-2
