What do you mean play a million diff games? The games you are refering to are not written in java. Java is a programming language and javascript is a scripting language (hence, script). When you run a program written in java it actually creates an application that your machine runs. While javascript is sort of like html where it is just run in the browser. Am I making any sense?

I think the reason that they don't have Java on them is because of the amount of vulnerabilities that are in Java and how easily hackable. But it's probably something to do with money knowing Apple...

Money may be a small part, but its more about control.

Apples "niche" is pretty looking products that will work. Period.

If you allow other developers code in there at that kind of level (similar to flash etc) then Apple lose that quality control.

Understandlble really.

Wasn't there a rumour on the net about apple redesigning java to their own iOS version. Think its name was iJava or something like that.

Through the website, no. But in the future if the game comes out on the Apple App Store (If Nick gets round to doing it) then you will he able to play on an iPad. But until that happens, no
