TV LICENCE??

Just stopped paying and started getting letters, laughed at them then chucked them in the trash

Now an investigation has started and they will be turning up at my door soon to gain access ( pmsl as they have no chance )

Communications act 2003 ( not a law states you need one )


Cant wait until they turn up at my house tbh lol

When you buy a tv now they ask your address for that reason

Same when you get cable or sky, I own a empty house not rented atm and even get contsant letters there and had to phone to say no furniture in house and no tv fgs

They still send letters I binned them, they even asked if there was a tv in the house, I said yes but the plugs cut off lol..

BTW you do know by law you do not need to confirm anything or even answer any questions to the goons that turn up at your address??

Tell them you you are not permitting them access to your address, its allowed btw and if they stay on your property you can film them ( as its classed as private property )

Do a bit of research sir and tell them to get lost lol

There is no law in the UK that says you have to have a contarct with a private organisation!!!

Just phone them says theres no one in the property and its unfurnished and they won't call..

Without police I don't think they can gain acccess

They can get access, they just need a warrant (so reasonable suspicion)

As a student, I can legally watch live TV under my parents one providing the device I use is running off its own internal batteries i.e a laptop not plugged in. But as rightly pointed out you don't have to tell them anything or let them in (unless they have a warrant). Some people have coped without a licence for over 20 years.
