I'd have preferred a bigger win and not a tight game but that goal deserved to be the winner of a pretty boring match

Butland should have saved that strike that was the worst match of the weekend. IF that's ALL Liverpool can/have to offer then they'll be lucky scrape the top 6 LOL

Absolute boring dross.

To be fair we were better than United, and Stoke have a quality set up now. There's no reason why they shouldn't challenge for European places (Especially with who they look like bringing in).

Who is your top scorer this season? Kyle Walker
Getting that one in while I can

In all seriousness now, you're a fool if you read too much into the first few games of the season. Else you have Leicester as champions, Arsenal relegated, Man City in the bottom half and Crystal palace enjoying Champions League football next season.

It's been a start you could only get in the prem. Champions draw, supposedly the next best team losing to a lesser team already under pressure, Liverpool and United in unconvincing wins. Still lacking full match fitness, so it's best to reserve any judgements until September.

LOL @ Walker

I'm only saying out of ALL the matches this weekend, Liverpool's was by far the worst. At least united tried to play as a team and go forward. Admit we did naff all with it with shots on target, hopefully that'll improve in the next fixtures.

Leicester were good but equally Sunderland were awful, Newcastle today didn't play too well neither. The best match in terms of football being played has to be Everton vs Watford.

IMO

Stoke Is always a difficult match though, both sides didn't commit too much going forward so there wasn't the space there to exploit. I was pretty impressed with the opening passing game, but we only really got Benteke involved off the keepers kicks (which is promising that we don't automatically play out from the back, so teams will think twice about a high pressing.

Firmino looks like our best signing, only got 15 minutes but he is an scoring player and he has to be able to hold a first team place. Little bit negative in the subs from Rodgers. Ings or Origi on earlier on to support Benteke was a good option to try. Bit more movement from Benteke and/or some support and we might get some good attacking football. Ibe's season to come good too.

Why do they put these "week days" in between the football days, anyone else excited for the next week off football already?
Sorry West Brom and Man City fans!

No one saw Arsenal losing - so very well played to West Ham, that Payet looks a player.
