Can't wait for the main fight tonight Carl Frampton a local man for me and the current IBF super bantom champion vs Scott Quigg from Bury the current WBA super bantom champion, so it's a unification battle !

Fighters Stats

Carl Frampton 21 Fights
Won - 21
Drawn - 0
Lost - 0
Wins by KO - 14
Rounds - 116
Rounds per bout - 5.52

Scott Quigg 33 Fights
Won - 31
Drawn - 2
Lost - 0
Wins by KO - 23
Rounds - 147
Rounds per bout - 4.45

Carl's been wanting this fight for more than five years now and he's going to prove to the world tonight that he's the best super bantom weight boxer in the UK by beating Scott Quigg.

I predict he'll win by KO in round 3 or 4, what's your predictions ?

Right Decision BUT what a crap fight overall - Only really started from Round 7 - Shame the 1st 6 were respecting each other too much and prancing about IMO. 1st 6 rounds nothing in it but Frampton were the only boxer trying to make things happen...the only one trying to box to be more precise.

Rematch - - - Possibly???

Not sure it's really an EPIC fight to want to watch and certainly shouldn't be the MAIN fight for a Sky Box Office event. Not yet, not in the same entertainment league as an AJ fight or Kell Brook, Carl Froch vs George Groves etc.

Frampton vs Leo Santa Cruz or Lee Selby next - I'd take Leo first.

That's why I said take Leo first - That wasn't the real Frampton tonight - he can box a lot better than that. Too much respect for one another ruined that contest.

I'd like to see a rematch BUT a proper full out slog from Round 1 - would they do it? I doubt it.

both were scared to lose until quigg was told he was losing!

was a decent last 5 rounds..pity about the 1st half as quigg could of took this match...no doubts a 2nd in on the cards and it will be next!

also...u can't say AJ is main event yet cause he is not, after this next title fight his career will hinge on a win or if he loses he will have to play around the british titles or grudge matches with whyte or the new guy lmao *david haye*..

aj needs a win or it's bust!

I agree Fran I think Charles Martin will be a good test however I fancy AJ to beat him. The opponent I fear who could beat AJ and could possibly the next opponent is Joseph Parker. That guy is formidable and currently annihilating every opposition.

Agree Craig that fight should never have been the Headline Bout and especially not on Box Office. Amir Khan vs Kell Brook should if they ever get it on and Khan somehow can beat Canelo. Can't see him doing so as Canelo will fight Golovkin afterwards IMO.

Now that's a fight I can't wait too see: Canelo vs Golovkin

Disappointing fight, first half was boring but Frampton was ahead most of the fight in my books with wee jabs here and there. Only way Quigg was winning was by knockout, fair result in my eyes but felt they'd call a draw.
I'd say there'll be a rematch in Belfast first, hoping for ring side seat for that one !

Like I predicted Carl Frampton is uk's best super bantom weight fighter !
