A Runout is a break and a clearance
A 7 Balling is clearing the table not from a break off and leaving the opponent with 7 balls on the table.

Is it not?

I don't see why not, I personally won't be playing any of mine till Sunday though.

Im not sure mate, i think when you get a run out it also goes down as a seven baller on your stats. I think anyway.

To save arguing i think any result that says so and so wins with seven balls remaining (only that is classed as the seven baller)

You're both right.

You get 7 Ball + Runout if you pot off break (One colour only) and then clear without missing.

If you pot both colours off the break, the 7 Baller is no longer applied so just a Runout.

In Events it would only show Runout but 7 Ball is added to profile

Technically if you pot one colour you should get 1 for 7 Ball and 1 for Runout but Runner (Ash in this case) can't prove you hit them both at the same time so counts as just 1 point

A run out counts as a 7-balling only if either 7 stripes or solids are left after clearing, not always as table is still open after potting from break and you can pick either or, but as long as you clear the type you pot from break then it's a 7 balling

You aint clarified the seven balling thing mate. Are you classing it as a seven balling (as in guy breaks and other clears) or does a run out seven baller count too.

A Runout is: A break and Clearance.
A 7 Balling is: At the time the 8 Ball is potted to win the frame the opponent having all their 7 balls on the table.

Is that fair?
