The old EPA rules do mention that you lose the game though, and do not mention the rules you quoted, spinner?
Sorry, i used the print version of the standard EPA rules we have for the club, but they're duplicated online (as mentioned in my post on the other thread) here :http://www.epa.org.uk/wrules.php )
But whilst its obviously nice to stick to the current rules as much as possible to make things easier for newbies who already play in real life, it is FUNKYpool after all.
For example (apart from the UK8Ball problem) the Golden Break is a fun idea, and an excellent alternative to having to code for a "normal" legal break.
Those of us who enjoy picking the real rules apart can do so at our local club, on here, we should play by the site rules. And enjoy it!
