Hmmm on this LG Android it says i need java :(

Are you sure you've downloaded the app and not just come on the website and tried to play? You need to download it from the Google store :)
Yeah forgot to mention i figured that out.

The graphics are looking a lot better than they were previously. Nice but on the nexus there is no menu button, perhaps a 3 finger touch could bring up the menu for tablets/big screens?

The menu should show all the time now, so at least you should be able to fully control the game.

This is still an area that needs improvement though, and gesture control might be a solution.

Played this on my Samsung Galaxy S3. Very nice graphics nicely set out. Like you suggested Nick i think advertising this site is a great idea to get more users on here - maybe as a pop up message or a link on the main menu that takes you to the homepage on here as i think that having the website on the information tab seems a little out of the way and unnoticeable . Another feature that i think would go down well would be the ability to use the forum - maybe a condensed version of this

Yep, the menu is there in the bottom corner now and everything works
Having a forum would be a great idea, it would get people who download the app to join the site too. More members

Any idea if this will soon be available on the Windows Phone? I have the HTC 8x and was just wondering.

I haven't read through the other pages so not sure if it's already been mentioned, the only question i remember seeing regarding what phone it would be compatible on was the Iphone.

I see the iPhone question has already been asked etc but my other one is will a snooker version be up and running any time soon? Or is pool just going to be up for the time being?

Hi..i met a new player, his name isda_equalizer!

He is the first player to tell me has has found this site due to the Funkypool App being introduced!

I thought might point that out, and i saw a bunch of people liking the app on google+

Equalizer was also wondering, if it can be introduced for the Blackberry Playbook! Speaking on his behalf, since he can't post yet.

He said its just a practice table, and he needs sombody to "pass the phone too"

I havent read much on this, as i don't have an android.

It would have been much easier for you to read nicks first post than typing what you have, don't get why you just didn't read it.

The game is currently 8 ball and 9 ball, practice mode only. It is free and without adverts

Now available for funky snooker too. http://www.funkysnooker.com/thread/9624/funkysnooker-available-on-android-phones

Like on the website both games use a common library and this has been improved eg optimisations to the code and refinements to the aiming system.

I am currently working on translations, then I will add some more fun sub games including some premium games.

Is there going to be a point where there will be a forum and be able to log into the game on there if we have internet?
Or is it just going to be solely for the game?

I've updated both funkypool and snooker today to improve performance, fix bugs and to include other languages. This version contains Chinese (simplified) language, Slovak (because I was living there and it provided a technically simple language to integrate), as well as English.

Is there going to be a point where there will be a forum and be able to log into the game on there if we have internet?
Or is it just going to be solely for the game?

I want to make the websites friendly for mobile browsers rather than access it through the app. Yes, I want users to be able to log into their accounts, however, I'm not sure if it is feasible for someone on the web site to play someone on the Android app.

Yup very true, it would be very unfair for a person on thecomputer to be playing someone on a touchscreen phone which is easy to make mistakes, but i have an idea, you could maybe have an online game server just for android users!

I think network game play for the mobile apps deserves higher priority than I have given it previously.

That means he agrees with you mate

I play the android app quite alot when im on the way to uni, or in uni, or at home! It's pretty useful to just pass the time if you're on a bus or something!
