i know but there were more than two players who didnt take part in the new season, so i thought i should be safe

You finished in the relegation zone mate, so you were relagated because the top players from div 2 carried on, so they were promoted, and you went down because although others left, you were still amongst the bottom. If it bothers you that much just get promoted this season
