After a few unlucky shots costa rica was looking dodgy to advance. Both teams missed a sitter to win a game but the overall score was the fair outcome.

Good luck to those that progressed, but I stand by what I said, I gave up my time to get games played and they were wiped off for no fault of my own. Which then went on to result in me being knocked out.

Stand ins should be just that, they stand in for a country no matter if the previous player had won all the fixtures or lost them. It was the stand in's own fault for not signing up in time and the player who left for obviously leaving, yet I was the 1 punished for it.

poor refereeing decisions made this result look a lot better than it were, italy took a 2 1 lead from a deflection, colombia threw all there men up to try and find an equaliser, but italy counter attacked them, but a couple may have been offside.

Colombia head back home to face the firing squad, but no doubt there all rich through smuggling packages over

Started off a strong start for USA but the Algerians managed to counter attack and clean up very well.
In 9ball the USA missed a black which the Algerians capitalized on making it 3-1.
In 8buk A nice break off shot from USA left the Algerans on who showed there skill, and then the USA got ul to make it 5-1.
Overall a little unlucky for USA but i was playing well. ggs :).

Greece go flying through after unexpectedly running riot through a strong english side. With equal amounts of posession, both sides had opportunities, but greece proved the more clinical. After uncharacteristic mistakes greece were given chances they never expected, such was that when Gerrard himself slipped on the ball, to let Greece go 1-0 up. England managed some promising build-ups but the finishing let them down..
