Rooney carried a poor united.
Ox was one of the first choice players when he wasn't injured
The rest all had over 35 appearances so how can they be considered not really being in their team?

Sorry you don't like opinions put forward with evidence Ash, blind biases it is then

Zante: we are entitled to our opinions, yes ckes is completely wrong and im sure he will realise that after Mr Wikipedias thrown all his stats at him again.

You're entitled to yours and lets just leave it at that.

if mine was wrong i wouldnt say it i said a lot arent on form and some cant get in there team

You said half of them can't get in their team, I showed you the stats that proves otherwise

Well bayern couldn't deal with him put it that way, you seem to be in a world of your own at the best of times

I don't think Milner should be going, but who would replace him....Rooney is always been poor for England in my opinion, but again who would replace him, no of the other England strikers could lace his boots.

Because he's a good talent, and only missed 2 games when he's been fit
Welbeck has plenty of game time and Rooney carried United

henderson started off good went rubbish sturidge gerrard started off rubbish had better 2nd half of season johnson cant defend more like a winger flanno to many fouls and got ripped down wings in last few games same think to many games caught up with a lot of lfc players and see how they do in world cup

Sturridge scored 10 goals in his first 11 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions. VERY BAD START.

Gerrard and Henderson have been great all season, some of the link up work Henderson has done with the front two and the midfield has been excellent.

You really are not a Liverpool fan are you?

Have not seen you say 1 positive thing about them in what has been our most successful season in years.

Oxlade didn't even get a full 90 minutes, and I proved that none of them failed to get in their own team. So even wording it wrong like that, you are still wrong.

Mich beat me to my next point

Yeah i agree but there's a way to do if, not completely obliterate someone's opinion. Yes he were incorrect, i wouldn't say wrong as who are we to judge. Its his opinion.

As for Oxlade vs Bayern, he played well but is very inconsistent, likes to cut inside too many times where we need utilize wingers and cross the ball in for Lambert header in. Instead we play close short passing footy and lose possession too many times. We simply cannot retain possession unlike Spain, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Argentina, Chile, Sweden, Holland, Belgium. Our fitness levels will need to be sky high chasing the ball and will probably use same excuse when returning 'burnout'.

When just simply not good enough, we have GREAT individual players don't get me wrong, but simply cant play as a team. I hope Carrick gets selected over Henderson. We need a DMC.

I said we have NO DEFENCE and not really any players which jump out at you and think ooo wow watch him. Barkley if gets the opportunity but with no defence no point attacking

I'd invite you to watch the premier league season just gone, see if any team contradicts this. As pointed out already, Uruguay will defend by attacking. World class in attack, nothing in defence in comparison.

Agree fuunky, milner and welbeck should not be going.

Adam Johnson in for Milner
Jermaine Defoe in for Welbeck - but Welbeck will probably be put on the wing.

Jack Wilshere class top quality player well was, injuries have ruined and blighted his career, can see him having to retire at a young age at this rate. Poor lad.

We don't have a chance of retaining possession so why waste a player trying to. Counter attack, there isn't an attacking player who hasn't thrived on a counter attack for England (except maybe Welbeck because I've not seen him play, but he should have the pace for it). Crosses like that are useless on a counter. We need the run with the ball types of Sterling and Ox, Baines and Johnson can provide crosses if you're that desperate for them

Just a quick question Ash...

What makes you think Lambert will be starting?

You are saying we need players to put a cross in for him etc... But surely Sturridge will be starting up top with Rooney Sterling and Lallana/Ox the 3 behind him?

That's what I would go with myself anyway.

Its what we need, if that's desperation for England then so be it, we simply cannot play any other way.

Cannot play any other way?

Rooney, Gerrard, Barkley, Ox, Lallana, Sterling and Sturridge are all brilliant with their feet, most who I named are exceptionally quick, some of them can find the killer pass, and a few of them have killer finishing.

I am sure you are watching Sunday league players with these players names on their back...

And that is without going onto Shaw Baines and Johnson who are all quick good with the ball can put a cross in...

He can hold up the ball to allow runners to feed from him, he's better than Sturridge in that respect. Sturridge although a very good player comes across as ball greedy and will shoot more than pass. I happen to think Lambert is one of our best Strikers in the Premier League.

Adam Johnson is a good player, but we need industry to which inlet provides. Johnson lost his place to Sterling and Ox who've ripped it up against big teams and have that bit more pace. Johnson is a great talent though.

Defoe has only looked good in Europa (and the teams were sub par), 1 goal in the prem in 14 app's and mainly a late sub who was useless. Defoe would be a poor choice

So you never watched the last world cup where we had Crouch who could do exactly the same? That never worked for us then when we had the likes of Gerrard and Lampard in their prime, Rooney in terrific form.

Sorry but I ain't an advocate of the Stoke/West Ham hoof to a big striker see if he can hold it up while players bomb on to try and get on the end of it. I like attractive attacking passing and possession football and we have the squad and players for that. will make it very hard for teams to wear us down.
