But i would rather have it Automatic than Manual as its less work for the Runners, If i could i would have all of it Automatic except Result Inputting

Any new developments league wise?

I think automatic is impossible without the direct site entry as there was a long time ago. But ours is as automatic as it can be as it produces and updates after each score.

There were some ideas floated on this thread a little while ago. But I doubt there will be many major changes as most seem fairly happy.

A separate Killer competition and SL will depend on there being sufficient separate and independent entity teams to make it viable.

Will Killer be abolished from the SL League then? (),

Plus can FBL be reverted back to 8 frames than 6 please.

FCL - Runs very smoothly and no amendments required.

It will be as long as people show interest in a separate Killer competition and the trial format works.

i still think scraping SL and having FCL cup and FBL cup .

these cups give enjoyment for all clans and allows more chance of winning things .

I would keep SL, its my favourite league which promotes attacking play.

If we want more titles then we need to get rid of "Grand Slam" and revert back to FCL and FBL Cups. I cannot judge Grand Slam though since i have never played in it before.

SL - Needs to be maintained I think it would be more appreciated and tolerated when killer is removed. Also add a few more bonus criteria eg. 7 ballings etc and this could take off a lot more than it has.

The GSC has been brilliant and run perfectly, no need to amend or abolish IMO.

Maybe there could be some Cups introduced from when leagues are split, giving all teams the opportunity to accomplish something. Also theTeam with best form, not only best players should be rewarded or acknowledged.

Just some ideas: On the whole, this season has been very enjoyable, been some turbulent times but hey what's new, it's the competitive edge being expressed. Leagues have switched runners-hip and IMO for the better, chris seems to be more committed to the cause and ALL teams are benefiting from it. The other runners ie. pirate_steve, zantetsukenz, _pro__frog_ have all done a great job, even with putting up with criticism from myself.

Also not going unnoticed but anoneeemouse (admin) has done a lot this Season and doesn't get the recognition she deserves.

Thanks to all for making it a very enjoyable season even with crap on threads, attitudes from others, what doesn't kill you, can only make you stronger.

There won't be FCL and FBL cups as their format can only be the same as the League games. With one division for each League there is no point having a Cup with the same format.

The only option to allow more chances for more teams to win proper titles is to have extremely short format SL games - ie back to 6 racks (2 of each type) 5-a-side matches and maybe a Plate competition for first Round losers in the GSC.

Superleague is a fun league in my opinion, and we should keep it but maybe with another format. It would be good if we have teams with 8 players here, and each clan may enter 2 if they want, but the teams cant be changed during the season.

Teams will have to be independent - however the same transfer rules will have to apply to these teams as to any other clan with only one team.

Just a quick observation about the FCL.

In previous seasons professionals would have won the league.

By having the split it meant the top teams had 2nd fixtures against the top teams which has shown why it is better playing competitive game against similar skilled teams.

In an ideal world we would have 2 divisions but because of clans folding and new clans it just doesnt work unless you allowed league runners to select and fast track clans into division 1. Then you could have 2 divisions from the start which may well make for even more competitive leagues.

Gobsmacked that we actually won it. I always thought the FCL was Pro's to keep, and they was a clan to emulate.

As a clan, Pro's was classy all season. Despite being our main rivals, they was nothing other than a top set of lads, and like us, was happy to make any sub/swap to get games played. Thanks to every single one of them for being good guys.

I don't have the words to say what I feel about our team. From the big names, to the lesser names - they've all been equally as reliable. I don't think we have any resetters, or fake newbies - and it goes to show what you can achieve with loyalty. I never imagined Uprising would become the biggest force, and although I hate to say it - we deserve it!

FCL - Season 22

Season 22 is now complete.

Thanks to all teams and players that took part and made it another success. Thanks too to everyone involved in the running and organisation at all of the various points of the season - but particularly to horse10000 and anoneeemouse for keeping the competition constantly updated.

For those games not completed by tonight's deadline I have allocated nominal defaults based on the apparent facts and activity.

Should any of the clans involved wish to provide further information which they think materially affects their own scores, please can they let me have it as soon as possible and the default panel will sit. Although I don't think any of the default scores will ultimately affect ay clan's finishing position.


The final outcome of the Golden Cue will be published later today.

Been asked to float the idea of slightly reduced clan sizes. Initially down to 14?

I am not sure 16 assists greatly with avoiding defaults. In fact two things it arguably does is 1) to leave active players on the sidelines without a game when they could actually be playing for someone and maybe avoiding a defaulted game, and also 2) to aid the better clans who often have a pretty limitless supply of good replacements for their absent good players which is a luxury other clans don't have.

Hmm on the day I've lost 2 players on mutual terms from 18 to 16 now 14 is in question. I championed the 14 rather than 12 during the season and will keep to this premise. 14 would be more manageable to a certain extent as agree with Chris' comment about have players on the sidelines waiting with anticipation or literally just waiting for nothing in order to play.

We have lost a few sides and IF this is a way to introduce and create more competition then I say it's a good idea. Yes teams have loyal players and want them to be the nucleus to their teams that's natural but everyone moves on eventually and loyalty works both way, if a player wants to move on then the Captain should be loyal and allow them to do so.

So I say 14 is a good idea IF it creates more teams, IF not then I say keep it as it is. Yes i signed too many and have seen the error of that and actioned accordingly.

It might stop a clan from folding every season but I can't see it creating more clans, the limit is 16 now but that still doesn't stop teams having more or less, so reduce it to 14 and keep it the same lol.

Most clans struggle to get 16 players tho so how many clans would need to release 2, and then it would be providing they all wanted to play in another clan together. I know we have a couple of inactives, they obviously wouldn't be much use to another team and It's unlikely they would want to play for another team anyway.
