I'm not sure why everyone thinks onua, hes a top defensive player but is 2 scared to try and clear up without 2 shots, tension has to be up there, don't think theres many better attacking players than him

true, was mainly because of his UK stats but if if i go for my usual attacking motto he wouldn't be in there but i would have to add Trats and Craig as they are good defenders as well but with my attacking motto i would probably include Imran as well lately.

never seen tension play so i can't comment on that front.

lmc_shark (aka tension) and lethal_lures (All Rounder) were brilliant on 8uk - add smithbit too who IMO were awesome.

I think Liam's all out attack policy is the only thing that stopped him being a top ten player tbh.

I reckon you have to take form into account, and Jack's 6 - 0 over tinie must put him up there.

we know, its just a question of who is better overall so on that note i would remove Onua as he only plays UK really and too defensive.

Tension is lmc_shark (Liam), unless I have my wires crossed. Amongst an inner circle of runout demons, I think he is considered the best. The leaderboards don't tell half the story of the elite, but he's sitting pretty right now and can breeze through the leaderboards in no time at all

I'd say lethal_lures would be up there, if not the best when it came to runouts, especially in 9ball. I always look at the runout to frames played ratio, and pete's is very good.

liam might just be better at uk runouts, pete probably best at 9ball, and 8us could be anyones

On a a second note, has anyone played onua in all types?? Look at his win percentage on every game hes played that percent win rate is just crazy, and all the top players listed dont even come close to his, now I know hes a winner on uk for the rules, but still gotta say he can be an overall contender just cause hes got an 80%+ rate, you have to look at his stats to even see where he lands at on this list, but im sure if he wanted to he would come back and be on the top again

I've only ever played him at his best game type, there's no doubting he isn't a class player but the reason his win ratio is so good is because he's that defensive

I have won roughly 14% (so lets say 15%) of Onua's games and i have.

I agree with you but some players are really attacking but can't clear in one visit (me for example). When i eventually get to Onua's Wins then i should be on roughly...

I think all this shows, is that both styles can work.

It depends what is classed as a great player, usually the player who wins most is classed as the best, which is clearly onua.
But if attacking is best, then Liam is clearly one of the best due to him running out on average every 6 frames, compared to onua 82 breaks per r/o.

Although I hate defensive play, you can't say someone isn't one of the best purely because it's all he uses.

I usually play all out attack but switch to defensive if it's not working or the player i'm playing against isn't a bad player.

Liam was a different class though. Best offensive 8uk player on the site by a country mile!

If your percentage is 14%, just times your r/o and 7b by 7.

Winning can be over rated as players could spend 24/7 on here (not saying he has btw), In my opinion Games per Runout/Seven Balling is a better reflection
