I sent it in before being asked, I remember as I didn't see the GSC game.

Cool some clans like to see who they have as they use tactical maneuvers but i suppose they could look on schedule first

Well thats what Ive done in the past.
I just think that clans should put in team sheets in time.
I get it was a little late this week, but do feel there should be a rule there.

Also think if you deactivate in a game you should be banned for that fixture set....
Thats not aimed at the person who some may assume, its just a general thing.

Nah they just start at -3 instead of 0, taking away a random fixture can be degrading for a player who has tried their best.

Taking away a random fixture is -15 for FCL, -2 for FBL, not sure on Super League but harsh and can have a BIG impact on the tables where their is a title race.

Little to start with (e.g. -3 before fixture starts) then as they don't send in lists it gradually gets bigger.

Only thing i can see working from your point of view is removing points from that clan only then its only your clan that suffers as you go down the ladder

How about rather than a 3 point deficit do a 2 point swing to the total points. So take 2 from penalized team and add 2 to the opponent. That way there will essentially be a 4 point difference, but the total 120 remains the same.

And no individual player gets singled out.

There is no logic for penalising a team just because they submitted their team list late, there could be any number of reasons as to why and in 23 seasons of the clan league I have never known any fixtures being any more than a day late which is nothing in the grand scheme of things. The rule used to be that the same team lists from the previous set would be used not sure if that still applies or not but it doesn't really matter, you could put any 8 in and they could do as many swaps / subs as they wanted under the current rules anyway.

To all Clan players I would like to announce that I am standing down from running the Leagues with immediate effect.

Myself and some Admins have reached the end of the line, and a parting of the ways, over some things.

I thought they should actually be doing something, anything, for the good of the site...

...and they didn't.

I gave four weeks notice as a mod in order to complete the League season in the proper way but unfortunately it seems the concept of notice is not something that gets recognised on here, like quite a few things.

Everything is in place and ready to be taken on by whoever you all agree is/are suitable.

I would like to think over the last few seasons the Clan leagues have been run for the good of, and the promotion of, Funkypool. I would also like to thank every single person that has taken part and the various Captains etc who I have interacted with to keep things running smoothly. Hopefully the same path can be followed.

Without all your dedication and hard work NONE of how the leagues and clans are would have been possible so i'd like to say a huge thank you and where we go from here is another matter entirely.

Sorry to see ya go, been a Godsend in keeping the Leagues and Clans ticking over nicely for a while now.

Genuinely saddened that you have stepped down as the best runner we have had in my opinion. I'm not entirely sure why admin are admin as they do nothing beneficial to the site. As you said you have been proactive in giving the site a selling point that was the best thing about it. Funkypools loss is whatever you decide to put the same time into nows gain. Cheers Chris.

Chris I think you and your staff deserve a massive thank you from everyone connected with clan pool, its a true shame you cant see the seasons out, but I'm more than sure the back ground staff can.

To run 3 leagues and the time it takes, demonstrates the work you have put into the site
applause to you and your staff

you will definitely be missed

job very well done

its a real shame that this has happened, but now I think this truly is the end of fair play in clans, the next league or leagues runner has some big shoes to fill

I think this seasons games have been very close
and interesting to watch and take part in

the clan forums have been the must brutal, much the same as last season, the disrespect, bullying and blatant rudeness, has saddened me greatly.

which leads to who puts their name forward, to run the leagues next season,
I'm sure the same protagonists will put their names forward

it needs a lot of time and effort without any true reward
someone who isn't in clans, should in my opinion,
should be selected preferably a moderator
one who has a clear direction on what to bring to the table

hopefully Chris and your team can select someone before you close the door who fits this criteria

I would also like all captains to distance themselves from the rubbish posts on threads and try and clean up the total image of clan pool
take responsibility for the image of their team and themselves
More importantly the image that is put out to any new players who may want to join teams

I would ask you all to take a long hard look at yourselves and the responsibility we all have to make clan pool a success.
season after season players leave clan pool as the numbers have shown, we can say whatever reason that suits, however the rubbish on clan threads doesn't help anyone

Would you like some tissues Craig....Jesus who would of thought this is just an online game!!

Thanks for all the time and effort you've put in Chris, done a great job and there certainly won't be a better league runner, also one of the very few decent mods imo so It seems admin have made a big mistake. I've noticed there seems to be getting less and less mods as well now and more admin, not sure If that's a good thing or bad.

Sorry to see you go chris, as the lads said you will be missed and in my opinion (no disrespect to Jan or Potty or even Myself) but you are the best Pool Runner by far and takes great amount of effort to do what you do.

Whoever takes over, i can help out with spreadsheets etc or even help run the league if you wish.

If you want a sneak preview of what i have in mind click link below and you can use the tabs (not sure if you can view hidden tabs though)...

http://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Alod79U5yAindFNzZ0YyNDNaVWVrY1NURDg5MWZvdXc&usp=drive_web#gid=94

Its a work in progress as some know but i'm glad about its progress can can help the Pool Runners with Results. Would have to do Snooker first as thats not yet complete but once its done i can ask chris to copy the spreadsheet so i can edit for Pool
