I agree with Craig tbh, maybe instead of clan players posting on opponents thread, they should ask their captain to do it for them. Then if there's an argument, its between two people and not 32.

but i shouldn't have to ask my captains permission to post, If players message, wait about 5 days, if no reply Then message unless its near end of deadline which its captains fault.

if players follow that and not post stuff which could lead to arguments then maybe site will be happier in two seasons

I'm not a Captain to mollycoddle my players, I'm a Captain to help coordinate and keep things as simple and organised as possible.

We are all adults and the only systematic change which needs to happen to alleviate the arguments is players need to mind their own business, concentrate on their own issues and IF there's any grievances or issues between the two opposing clans that be kept private and not broadcast over every other thread. (Between the teams Captains or Vices). This is where teams should only appoint the correct amount of Captain or Vices, you give everyone on the team a Vc role and that's where the issue really lies. (power trips)

Most of the arguments are eruptions which have escalated from misinterpretation or crossed wires. Much easier and mature to deal with via offline.

Subs and swaps are usually the cause for all arguments, hopefully with a little more common sense we can ALL move on positively.

I agree could be, that doesn't help instead exacerbates the situation.

Certain captains on this site, message their own players with who they are to play. Then from that message, click their oppos name and message oppo.

Seems simple.

*yawn on the same convo every time

Comes down to attitudes and learning to be civil to each other, subs are the main cause of arguments in clans, but its not the asking its the reply captains give when asked that causes the arguments, instead of giving a mouthfull and a straight no, why not reply with something like "plenty time left, I realise they have been offline a few days but I'd like to give them a few more days, I'll sort a sub then if needed mate", I would accept that reply.
Similar when asking, instead of demanding a sub why not just inform your opponents captain their player has been offline for so long, then leave it with them, I've seen this done by a few people and there was no argument, you made the captain aware and if he doesnt do anything about it eventually and it goes to default its clear whos to blame. default evidence without arguments.

I just want to add, I see this now and then and its not right and can cause arguments.
Players asking for subs because they cant play at weekends or in the 2nd week, If you cant play then thats your clans problem and not your opponents, why should they give you a sub when your the one thats not going to be available at certain times.

If you want I can show you where I have politely asked Sharks for a sub and got crap from them in return.

Also when other clans don't have players it seems like my clans the only clan trying to get games done. In each of our div 2 games tbf.

Thats what I said, its the reply that causes most arguments, a polite simple reply would possibly be acceptable rather than a mouthfull and a straight no.

It's all conjecture and nonsense. The last two seasons the system has been successful and doesn't need changing at all. There has only been an issue with one singular captain, and we've all been assured that the issue has been dealt with. Making a massive issue of it now is pointless. If everyone conducts themselves in the proper manner next season, there'll be no issues at all!
