Just a heads up, not sure if everyone else will have this problem but my Google Chrome updated to version 42 or something today and I was no longer able to get the game window working. Did a little research and turns out Google are trying to phase out the use of plug-ins or something along those lines. To get around it I had to go to this page

chrome://flags/#enable-npapi

I did a search, using CTRL+F and search for java then clicked enable where it had java in the description and also enabled NPAPI plug-in.

Long story short I don't know exactly what kind of effects this may have but it worked for me and hopefully it helps any others if they encounter the same problem.

Peace out!

Yeah Google Chrome are phasing out the use of plug-ins - to save all the messing about I'd suggest downloading Mozilla Firefox Browser.

Google Chrome are due to lose a lot of people due to this decision - but the other browsers do work.

I wouldn't interfere with the about link - it's all experimental and should you accidentally mis-click on something it'll be difficult to actually diagnose/decipher what if you are unaware what you are doing.

Safer and Easier option IMO is just to Download another browser - keep your computer as safe as possible also - Job Done IMO.
Hope that helps.
Have fun.

Well I use Firefox and my java updated too, to 8.45 I think. Anyways. It will "eventually open" but when I change let's say the game table color, it takes four minutes to do, and any other change, from making the screen "full screen" or back to "small screen" again. Takes again about four minutes to load up, stays "frozen" the entire time........awesome.......just awesome

Go into your control panel and uninstall the new version and then go here

https://java.com/en/download/manual_java7.jsp

And download this version, the new one is just giving everyone problems

I've had this problem after updating too, but I have also tried removing the new version and putting the old one back but it still says the plug in is not supported. Getting withdrawal from playing! Might have to resort to IE as well unless anyone has any other ideas?

IE has its problems too as you can join an invite but sometimes freezes and results in DQ. Takes around 3 or 4 mins to log in and when accepting an invite for tourney match you are lucky if you can break off within the allocated time.

I'm using IE without the newest java.
Chrome stopped working with the old java a few days ago. That's when I switched to IE (just while visiting funky), about a day before I was ever offered the latest java update.
About that, I saw the trouble people were having, and remembering the trouble I had myself last time, I haven't updated yet, just been hitting the "later' button for a couple of days.

I tried Firefox earlier today with the same results that I had using IE, therefore just removed firefox and am trying to use IE

I'm going to put the offer out there, TORCH browser, NEW will be replacing Google Chrome very shortly (it has a very similar feel and navigation menu) so IMO as it's brilliant. The game runs like a treat on it, no lag issues been reported also many, many other add on's which you'll more than likely enjoy.

http://www.torchbrowser.com/

Enjoy

* Hopefully this could assist with increasing the sites traffic and players.

Trust Me It Works. (Have trialed a few others on here with it first and no issues have been reported too)

Does Flash work also? looking for a second browser so i can play on my Angels with two accounts (no rule against it on their which is why i did it plus its a mess account).

On Firefox it said i had to install Flash but got Adobe Flash Player 17 Active X and AFP, PPAPI and Angels runs fine on Opera.

I think it worked on Chrome in the past not sure so should work on Torch?
