same klein, even once every 2 hours may bring normal games back what the game has been lacking. At the moment it is bad enough that 90% i only log in to play friends or league games, 5% are super or CBY tournaments and other 5% is play anyone. Only see a couple of rooms per type (if that), miss the days where you struggle to enter chat room and plenty of rooms (at least 5+ per type) so have a good time.

its dull nowadays and micros wouldn't benefit.

I've said it loads of times, never going to happen, the majority of people that are left seem to be 2 obsessed with tournaments.

agree with everything you said, i think micros should be scrapped and tournys back to every hour and not be ranked, also the ranking system should go back to how it used to be, i think then there will be more ranked games and more people joining tournys and make them worth winning.

I would suggest keeping the tournaments on 13 hours schedule
so people can play a game choice at times it suits them

micros have 2 every hour
40 ranked points
(this helps people who cant win tournaments achieve something)

(micros have next to no participation now, before they were always occupied)

If you have 2 micros every hour that award tournapoints then the bigger tournaments became redundant to play also. Would be easier to win 80 points from the micros every hour.

Craig saying i don't think micros aren't going to work is NOT rude but my own opinion, i respect your opinion that you like micros and want them back and i think they could be a success so respect mine instead of talking in Japanese.

however guests also want to play this site and if we have tournaments every minute of every day, 99/100 in tournaments, guest can only play 1/100 they leave and find something else to do.

we need to accommodate normal game rooms as much as tournaments which is why i proposed having a tournament every one-two hours may finish them early which is a bonus as more game rooms are made and guests can play more.

your right, i don't play in many, why? because they aren't worth the prestige anymore except the Super Tournaments which i enter if i have time.

Also i've never cared about rank, only time was when i need 850 in main three types to join my dream clan at the time other than that, not cared much. Same with Tournaments, 3k tournapoints and under 50 tournaments in my time here speaks volumes

I see the micro tournaments more as per-prepared ranked games and a stop gap between the main tournaments. The fact you can win one without even entering says a fair bit about their popularity and prestige, but i honestly feel without them there would be even less ranked games being played.

This may be controversial, but one way to get more games on the go would be to have tournament only games! This would instantly bulk up tournaments as there would be no ranked or friendly game rooms! This would bulk up the chat room as to be online you're either in chat or in a tournament - win win. All practice tables available.

Clans pay premium to unlock player vs player
non-ranked games.

To gain rank it's tournament play only!

respect your opinion mate but to play friends or clan games i have to pay premium? If that was to happen i would be on much less. clans and friends are what keeps me going.

For me, the only way to go is scrapping the micro tournaments.

The more players you get per main tournament the more it draws others to the site. The reason i started playing back in 2008 was because tournaments offered a massive challenge... there was around 50+ players in each tournament.

Scrap micros, add better incentives to play normal ranked games and tournament ranked games.

Please post a rough schedule mate, would be interested to see how you would mix the rest of the disciplines minus the micros.

Take a look at my first posts and paste the times or your own times. Remember marathons, speed, mulch-discipline etc. I have no arcade tournaments as main on the hour tournaments.in my proposed list, maybe the main exclusion, but do include them for micros.

I have tried by form of a Facebook Group and have 60+ members already and asked guys to Share so their friends can see it.

I have also made the Snooker League easier by making most things automatic (tables, golden cue etc) by formulas.

Except for a few (Sarah, Keith, Chris, Budweiser and Staff) i perhaps do more for this site than anyone else

Regarding Leagues i agree, too many although Snooker is struggling and we only have one league and one cup (6 games max, 10 members). I would scrap the Super League as much as i like the playing style surrounding it and keep FCL and FBL which is popular.

We have always respected Pool Leagues which is why we never added a second clan league as most snooker players play on pool too.

Tournaments because we don't play in them doesn't mean we can't have an opinion. I could enter the afternoon ones if it was as popular as years ago (16+ members minimum) but less than 8 loses its prestige, especially in the main ones. three in wednesdays 11 pm (earliest i could go back), thats what i call not working but the peak time seems to be 6 pm until about 11 pm and has at least 5-7 which isn't bad but could be better, saw 11 in one of them so not bad either.

if you look at the decline of site members it speaks volumes

leave the site alone, you unfortunately can not revive it

the revenue stream if everyone paid a tenner
which they don't and not many do, or have any intention to do so, also combines with the massive decline in numbers

would only generate £40k max, I can never see an amount of people who subscribe to the site

and people demand improvements and advertising and get it going, blaming tournaments, everything.
look no further than yourself and people who don't contribute, nothing in life is free and like most things when its gone its gone

stop the bleating, about this and that, give Nick the resources to promote the site and applaud admin and mods

Try and remember Craig, like you said this is just an online game, who would of thought it the way you go on?

Craig the £10 you pay are for the cost of adverts only and not for profit you seem to think it is. It is the same revenue and will continue to say so unless admin correct me. The £10 is to cover the loss of no adverts which is the root cause of a profit.

Ask Youtubers if you don't believe me, the only way nick would lose money is if people blocked the ads without paying, for every member who does that, nick loses money from advert revenue and display them.

Thats why Youtubers ask subscribers NOT to block adverts as they depend on that money to make remixes or other things and nick would be dependant on that money too.

Sorry mate but for me £10 is for 5 or 6 cues, not worth it, same revenue if you pay or not, makes no difference

Nope i will continue with the Facebook Group thanks, you support by paying £10 which you feel is supporting the site and enter 50,000 tournaments a year, i contribute by making Snooker Clan League as good as it can be and by doing a Community Group so i'm contributing to the site as well in my own way. Many guys respect me for my abilities on the table and what i have done for clan leagues for funky. Your in the minority who don't and thats fine, always good to have fans

Over Xmas and few months since my return i learned to respect you more on the forum (always respected your ability on the table) but now i realise it was a mistake and second chances aren't a reality

Yup i was obsessed with this site for years, i admit it and acted the way he does now but evolved into a better person because of it and respect banter for what it is.
