When I try and open the window to play the game it takes awhile to load then freezes? didn't use to do this when I played a few months back.

There are many players experiencing the same issue over the last few months at varying degrees of seriousness. It seems to be connected to certain browsers incompatibility with the latest java version, which you've most likely updated at this point.

For me i have no problem entering the actual game server. The problem arises if i meet a player that's having an in game issue with their java/browser and results in me waiting approximately 2-3 minutes to see their game start response. So basically the 30 second start game clock runs out and no response, but most importantly i don't see any not responding notification on their part.

I would suggest browsing these linked threads for a solution. Some of the suggestions have worked for a good few people, but i guess it will require a degree of patience until you get something approaching a stable fix.

Just for the record the only way i've avoided these issues is by rejecting any java update from the version i'm currently using, which is Version 7, update 51 or 1.7.0. My browser is firefox.

Uninstalled Java and installed Java Version 7 Update 79 and it worked on chrome.

Follow the Windows Online section - Then IGNORE where it tells you to update it.

The new java 8 update 45 won't work on the game.

When you've used the link above you'll need to click on the red x in the search bar and click on always allow Plugins.

Then on LATER when the game applet opens.

Try what i wrote above Gaz about old java but newest has worked for some.

think older java is the best method

When downloaded and installed java 8 update 31 make sure you always click on LATER when it prompts you to update.

on the old 1 m8 but might try new if this keeps up :s

i know sean_92 can't play and hes on old java, he can play snooker but not pool

im on old jave have been before and since all the issues ive never had any probs playing snooks or pool

I'm the same, only problem i had was when we didn't realise old java didn't work and pirate and dex tried everything unfortunately my system restore is broken but since i'm on Java 8, 31, no problems since. Keep saying no each day when prompted to update

Listen i was having the same problem the freezing and the getting kicked ! I fixed mine!! I got rid of the old version got the new one 8 update 51 and works perfect!!!!! And im on Mozilla Fire Fox browser !!! Great connection!!!! BAM DO IT

I'm on update 51 but I get the prompt to "run" and half the time it just freezes and I can't click so I have to restart my browser. I'm using safari though so I'll try Firefox.

I use firefox and still on java 7 65 and I never get any problems.
