I am trying to download some music videos from YouTube, but the KeepVid site says they are protected. Is it possible to download videos from YouTube that are protected?

If all else fails just download audacity, you can record music in top quality and save the files as mp3s.

Yes it's free, you download the software from the Audacity site, then you download something called LAME (you can find that easily just by using google) which makes you able to save your recordings as mp3s. You never have to do anything with the LAME file, just a one time download and then open up Audacity on your desktop, make your recordings or whatever and then save them and they automatically go to your music files or wherever you wish to save them.

It's a cool little program.

If you want to screw around with music and just see where it takes you, you should download virtual DJ home-free, it's a great program for mixing music or making sets of music. There are plenty of youtube tutorials on how to get you started with the basics etc too.
