Why do you want Funky to change?

I don't think the Forum as a whole is the issue here it's more I think if players were only allowed or encouraged to post only on their teams thread or the Discussion ones then that could help generate a pleasant environment on here.
Players are too quick to voice their opinions on other teams threads when most of the time they aren't required or needed. Their intentions could be good but I hasten to add most are said solely to stir or exacerbate unnecessary situations.
IF all players kept to their own threads then that could be a great start. What's said offline between players though is their prerogative and as long as it's kept private then there'll be no problems.
Opinions on the Discussions thread are a good idea/thing but still we need to accept everyone is entitled to one and most aren't seeking acceptance or a swift reply to any issues raised. There are some on here who try to act like GOD and are too quick to reject/dismiss and even ridicule peoples opinions - that also needs to stop IMO. I think a lot more players would express their true opinions and ideas if they felt what they said to be accepted and welcome.
get rid of forums that is a major problem on here the abuse thrown around sarcastically or not the FORUMS are a big problem

Yep not the forum because the abuse was there even when site was busy. It seems quiet now (except the prize thing).

With the right investment is there anyone with a know how of maybe setting up a funkypool version themselves ?
(not a techno at all but sure there plenty here and reading forums plenty of people who might be interested in investing )

I'd simply want it to change to become more modern, as it is its just a ghost town with less and less people coming on. You can't have a pool game with no players and this site is heading that way. Plus the rumour about the java.
Obviously Nick isn't too fussed about this site anymore or lots of stuff would get done. Credit to him for making this site the amazing thing it is but it needs continued management and he really isn't the guy to do that as look at the mess it's in.
Release it as an app as well and then maybe funky might be one of the best downloads on the app store and failing that then it's not a matter of what we want to change, it's just a fact that this once great game will die out.

Nick has to be bothered or sell to someone who knows what their doing who can move site forward but Nicks making a profit still so i can't see him investing the time.
