My laptop has a 17.3 inch screen. So obviously when I come on and play pool, if I make the server pool screen my full screen. The picture below shows how big the balls are. And how big the pockets are.




But below this is another image of the pool server screen i prefer playing with were the balls are smaller, the pockets are smaller. My question is if you guys had a 17.3 inch screen or a big computer screen, would you guys play with it full screen or half screen? Does it make any difference or not?

Me i played Full Screen (F11) but since i got this 22" desktop, it makes no difference so just Maximized with no Zoom now. Smaller the screen, the more effective the Zoom becomes.

I think Seb plays on a 13" without zoom and Damee has too where Dest can only do 22".

It all depends what your used to, until this year, i couldn't live without zoom and when Opera was discontinued from Java then my game was affected as got smaller. Damee taught me how to zoom years ago and now i can't play well without it as angles change of the pots.

Basically, you press address bar in game then press F11, it makes the size twice as big on smaller monitors.

I use Alt + Tab to switch windows in F11 mode, to get rid of it, click in any white/black space off the table and press F11 again.

Had an advantage for years over it and now on this 22" it is the same size if i zoom or not so i just use full screen without F11.

I only half screen when browsing so i can see whos turn it is at the table.

any change than what your used to, you have to relearn potting angles, had this monitor 3-6 months and only got used to orig again and was bigger than my last screen.

I use the 'fn' key and 'f11' key pressed together, to maximise game screen. Then I go to the forum and zoom in so the texts really small, only pitty is the adverts disappear, and I can't click on the thai brides for sale site, but the game tables larger. But I've only a 15.5 inch screen :(

15.4 inch. Definitely no zoom!
