Do you need horses permission to blow your own nose too? Appears that way - you're supposed to be a Captain ...take responsibility for your team and actions.

Nothing to agree Lee, you are a captain and are more than capable of making a decision. This exact same thing happened me v bigcj few seasons back. I played the rest of the frames vs a new player and that was that. I did not allow a reset like you are not, then continued on. Why make a war over nothing? An easy solution, but like the others, you actually have no intention of making progress.

He did ask me about the rules and did say if he agreed it would probably stand as i don't think the rule changed but he wants to make sure by asking Keith first to avoid dispute later if the rule had changed.
Not interfering this time but he checked the rule with me first and i wasn't 100% sure but fairly sure it hasn't changed so he wants to double check.

He refused my request for the scoreline to be reset (Okay)
He's requested a sub on numerous occasions, we offer him one and now he needs to check the Leagues Etcher Sketch to see if that's a possibility.
Surely IF he's unaware of the Rules then why bother asking those numerous occasions in the 1st place!!!

Yeah i think he is coming round to the idea but he wants a 2nd opinion as i was 75-80% sure, not sure why he asked me as i'm a helper who does fixtures and excel but if both agreed and rule had changed their would be chaos, while i'm fairly sure it hasn't changed i wouldn't want to guarantee it on an argument later.

Once a games already been started I thought a sub can only be made and allowed to carry on from the same score If the player is removed or deactivated, or has that changed?

The SL has always been a different ruling, either agree to a reset or continue from the present scoreline. (with a substituted player)
The FCL has been any subbed player involved in a partial fixture can not add to their overall score but restrict the opponents from extending theirs.
I'm sure that's how it's been for a while???

1 runout for him in the 8uk
i was on for a runout in both 8us and 9us frames that i lost, but unfortunately on both occasions the final ball was just not on to pot and he cleared well in both frames that happened.

I missed a double on the black, then he fouled black next game.

He fluked the first, I missed another double in the second which cost me the runout and game.

Java crashes and my touchpad feels really stiff even with sensitivity on it's lowest setting. Ever since put on Windows 10 laptops been absolute junk. Sent 11 days ago

I'll be making a sub on Saturday midnight as mentioned before....really sorry but at the same time I really appreciate your understanding with this fixture. Take it easy and hopefully IF i'm still around we can play another time.

If you can let me know your times available I'll see what I can do? It will have to be a pretty late match but not later than 11pm.

Obviously I couldn't and haven't been in any position to offer a definitive time and date to play but that was the whole concept in me requesting his times. I seriously question your capability to be a Captain (as you can't even make any decisions - maybe we should ask your partner instead?
I'd get more sense out of a FIMBLE! maybe even Rocket the Frog!
