I think until a clan actually starts winning titles and leagues, that it's impossible to call them the new anything.

Every clan has top players, granted some have more than others, but you only have to look at fpd b's success in the sl against phoenix b to know how unpredictable outcomes really can be. (regardless of how unimportant the short format leagues are deemed by some people)

When Phoenix had players like Harriet, payback, fresh etc a couple of seasons ago they had the perfect team to at least take a couple of titles, yet neither a or b even got to the SL playoffs. I know ash has a great team now and I'm sure will have a tough team for next season but I just think the nature of what clans have become now is far too precarious to predict anyone's overall success.

True Dee, i based my theories on FCL, Next Season will be tougher if it goes way of FBL/SL but FCL has always been the measuring stick. MVP > Pros > Uprising seems to be the trend and if it stayed then Phoenix seem to be 2nd behind Uprising like Snooker Squad, Wipeout, Untouchables was with MVP. Snooker Squad is the best SL Team however but couldn't manage longer formats.

With Groups it is harder to predict like Short Leagues and anyone remember FCL Cup? The best team couldn't win it until their last few seasons i believe. With FCL seem to be siding with Groups it seems my theories has been lost but hopefully you get the idea

Hopefully we have enough teams for the season to even take place....that should be our main point of call at the moment. Not assessing or analyzing which team can be crowned as the new top dog.

Not really but it matters to me Anyway i thought you would be happy that i think Phoenix may be the new Top Dog?

I don't think it's deluded for people to speculate what next season will hold. People will carry on as if there will be one but Keith hasn't actually confirmed it yet or said what the nature of the league will be.

Guarantee Keith hasn't said anything because he likes people to wait. I'm sure i did read ages ago that this was the last season he would run. So for their to be "next season". You need a new league runner. You need minimum 5 clans to compete. Oh and did I mention the website is coming to an end at the beginning of the new year.

It does not matter if there is only 2 clans ! We love pool and we love competition .. So whatever ... Im sure klien and deedee and ash we all love our teams and a 3 team clan season bring it!!! Less defaults hopefully and less people b1tching .. And if Bucky gets his going then we got 4.. The point is we do not need 5 clans this isnt a real league ... We work with what we got and have fun!!!

Merging? Why, because we signed 4 free agents? We needed players and now we have some. Phoenix has a full team more or less, we still don't. You were asking Dvz to join phoenix even before we signed any new players but I suppose that's OK.

Phoenix would be fine without 2 captains anyway it's a full team and still has Alex and new vices.

Huts may be able to keep a team together and bucky will surely manage to get misfits up and running and fpd are always in for the long haul. So it's down to Keith and suggestions for what the format will be.

It's obvious that with Uprising and bs folding there was never going to be 5 clans again next season. It's only since dfe have signed a few uprising players and you now realise next season isn't gonna be anywhere near as easy as you thought it was gonna be that there's an issue lol...
