Absolute crud match, Barkley was lucky to not be sent off... horrific challenge on Henderson. Liverpool were the better team but if that's them playing at their best then they won't be anywhere near a title challenge.

Great weekend for United apart from Spurs and Liverpool winning but if we can continue the momentum we'll be knocking on the top 3 in no time. Arsenal doing what they always do, presenting themselves with heartache and anguish @ Christmas time.

Exciting season so far.....should be a cracker of a finale after the Festivities. Wonder who will be recruiting come the transfer window... we need another defender and possibly a striker.

Find this funny that you say Liverpool wont be anywehre near title challenge if thats there best even tho we have just won a massive derby game AWAY . Excellent result away from home and the league shows that Liverpool will be fighting for top spot and is making a great title challenge ..

is man united 6th lol ..

1. Chelsea 43
2. Liverpool 37
3. Man City 36

4. Arsenal 34
5.Tottenham 33
6 Man Utd 30

LOL -

Liverpool's remaining fixtures: Up to End of January 2017

H - vs Stoke - 27th Dec
H - vs Man City - 31st Dec
A - vs Sunderland - 2nd Jan
A - vs Man United - 15th Jan
H - vs Swansea City - 21st Jan
A - vs Chelsea - 31st Jan

IF you can manage to WIN every fixture above then you'll be in a Title Challenge - I happen to think NOT. 15th Jan will be a great match - we'll batter ya!

As for United - we'll continue doing as we are - playing very well and getting deserved results. Sunderland next - We should win that fixture - the return of David Moyes - Mkhitaryan's back too along with possibly Eric Bailly.

Exciting times.

Not sure why you put man united in BOLD , Easy win For Liverpool !
Problem with man united fans is you think you have a good team still which the league shows otherwise lol ..

In my view man united will be lucky to stay 6th this season lol

Easy win @ Old Trafford - LOL -

Our team is a lot better than yours okay the league table currently states otherwise but had those 3 draws been wins we'd actually be ahead of your beloved Liverpool. Still we have to accept it we aren't but I rate our team a lot higher than yours.

Our Starting XI and subs bench far outweigh yours and whereas Liverpool are playing some exciting and attacking, flowing football at times....tonight's match was the exact opposite. We'll see what happens come 15/01 - I for one am looking forward to it. By then you would have dropped points vs: Man City, possibly Sunderland as they are in a relegation fight and will try at all costs to win at home (I'd expect a Liverpool Win still). Stoke City aren't a push over...pains me to say - they could easily get a draw at Anfield.

We have: Sunderland (H) - 26/12, Middlesbrough (H) - 31/12, West Ham (A) - 02/01 - 9 points we could pick up there - We could potentially be only 2 points behind you when we meet. That's assuming Stoke draw, you beat Sunderland, Lose to City. Either way we'll be very close and I reckon you should fear us....we're just warming up.

That's Liverpool at their best?! Obviously not when were missing key players due to injury. Based on what United spend every Summer, they should be buying themselves the Title each and every season. But your players just don't perform when they need to. Mourinho relies on a 35 year old striker to get United out of trouble and score the goals. Who else has scored for United so far this season? Has Rooney even scored one yet?

And i'm also pretty sure we played Chelsea earlier into the Season and beat them 2-1 at Stamford Bridge. So I'm intrigued to know how were playing them away again on the 31st of January. Care to explain that one Ash?

Fair point, the BBC Sport website I referred to stated it as an Away fixture. You're correct.

My apologies.

No good Ash backing up his beloved United.

Played the teams above them in the league

4-0 defeat in the hands to Chelsea
1-1 draw against Arsenal
0-0 against Liverpool
2-1 defeat in the hands of Man City

Played all the lower rated teams and have still picked up bad results here and there.

0-0 against Burnley
1-1 against Everton

It really doesn't help when all the teams above your beloved United keep winning... Try taking points off the teams above you, that'll help a lot.

Liverpools results against the top 7 so far this season.

4-3 win away to Arsenal
2-1 Win away to Chelsea
0-0 draw against Tottenham
1-0 win against Man City
1-0 win against Everton
0-0 against United

Zante said it himself perfectly a few weeks ago, for a team that has spent the money they've spent over the years they should be challenging for the title every season. But they struggle for top 4. At the start of the Season. United won 3 games on the bounce and even then, the fans were singing were gonna win the league. Ha! Next joke?

I'm most certainly going to look forward to all of the home games we've got coming up against the big teams.

Arsenal at home.
Chelsea at home
Everton at home
And lastly Tottenham at home.

United have played most of the big teams at home, and still lost points. So much for that home advantage.

United still need to play Arsenal away, City away and Tottenham away. Love it I genuinely do
