Good result pal!

I've got a couple of games organised, starting with slimeball which is on Wednesday. Got in contact with Phil and told him to let me know what days and times he is available as it will be easier for me to work around his availability with me working shifts.

1st_response 9-6 marksmith

8us 3-2 - potted the black unfortunately on a clearance to go 1 down, won the next 3 with solid pool to go 3-1 up, lost the last 1 when I carelessly fouled on a simple shot.

9us 4-1 - went 4-0 up with some ruthless finishing and capitalising on a couple of bad bits of luck from marksmith, he then won the final game with a tidy finish.

8uk 2-3 - won the first to get to the 8 for the win then lost my way a bit and got a bit careless, lost the next 2 when a mm better positioning in both frames would of given me the wins but he cleared well after my mistakes/misfortune to go 2-1 up, I cleared well after a tactical start in the next frame to go 2-2 and then marksmith took out a very nice finish to win 3-2.

All in all I'm happy with the win but disappointed it wasn't a tad more comfortable.

Wow, what a different game this was to that one earlier! Both myself and you___lost played at a very low standard, weird to say but I had a lot more chances in the frames I lost then in the ones I lost earlier.

8us 2-3 - both of us threw away easy chances to win frames and it went back and forth us both missing.

9us 3-2 - again both of us threw away easy chances to win frames.

8uk 1-4 - he started off really well winning the first frame with a good clearance, the 2nd frame I had an easy snooker and under hit it carelessly and he finished with the 2 shots. I then golden broke which would of made it 7-6 to him and all to play for only for the white to go in so it made it 8-5! He won the next when I was still cursing my luck with the fouled golden break! I won the last one with a very good clearance to at least make it a respectable score.

Very very very strange games, I'm sure he will say also that we both played massively under par. 8uk was the difference and god knows what would of happened had the white not gone in for the golden break.

Got whumped by Harriet 11 - 4. Sorry chaps!

She gave me plenty of chances in 8ball but I was fully in self destruct mode. She then hit some form in 9us, controlling the white superbly. 8uk was probs a fair result. WP Harriet!

The less said about my performance here, the better. Mike's a top guy so it didn't hurt too bad losing, but my performance was woeful.

Fantastic game to take part in, both took out some very good finishes.

8us 2-3 - I should of capitalised on his misfortune in frame 1 but my touchpad failed on an easy take out, he then upped the standard and took out the next 3, one of which was a class run out, I took the final frame in this format to keep it tight.

9us 1-4 - I had some bad luck in this format with some harsh positional lands and it just wouldn't go my way but credit to davy he finished his chances with touches of class and was ruthless.

8uk 4-1 - I went into this format 7-3 down which I felt was harsh and probably could of been 5-5, davy took out a very nice finish to secure the win at 8-3. He then had a couple of bits of bad luck and I was as ruthless in my finishing as he was in 9us.

Overall very happy to get 7 points especially after being 8-3 down! Absolute gentleman and a top class player, one of the best. Look forward to playing him again and I wish him all the best with his future games.
