After a couple of suggestions on the FCL discussion thread and a couple players mentioning how interest may drop towards the end of the leagues when players have played all their games and are sat waiting around for others to finish, i've decided to make a proper individual league-style event for individuals to join. Anyone welcome!

The Basic rules are as follows:
~ Super League Format (4 x 8us, 9us and 8uk)
~ 2 points for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss.
~ There will be tight and strict deadlines.
~ Season turnarounds will be no longer than 6 weeks in total from the start of one season to the start of the next (should popularity demand another).
~ Apart from the first season (which will be slightly different in order to seed players) there will be a number of divisions (not specified until player count) in which promotion, relegation and play-offs are a viable way to make your way to the top league.
~ There will be a three strikes policy in which should you be to blame for three matches going to default, you will be automatically removed from the leagues and not allowed to return.
~ ALL defaults will end in both players receiving 0 points, unless it is absolutely clear only one player is to blame. Up to 2 points will be awarded to players whom can be judged to have made an effort to play. Points may be deducted for abusing this system.

More detailed rules will become available, along with a website, once I have a full list of players.

Only one issue i see is if a player made tons of effort and other player none and say they needed 2 points to stay in league or qualify then the opponent either intentionally or goes inactive for the default then that's only one strike and can cost that player something major.

If that player does everything in their power and other player barely makes effort then should be a win even if that player wins the league from it.

Other than that looks good.

Are the Strikes season based or Lifetime based like League Warnings and stuff?

You're right about the defaults thing, will edit that now.
Strikes last for two seasons, that is to say;
The season you get the strike in plus the next season (thats to avoid abusing it by getting one at the end of the season just because you have strikes left over.)

bit like Snooker then where its 2-3 seasons and think its 2 at fault for a warning, 3 at fault for a season suspension then a further strike is a lifetime ban unless runners think that player changed.

Some probably wont join because they're in keiths event as well and may think its too many extra games to play.

You could always start and whoever else is wanting to play can join in as theres no set fixtures just every player must play each other once.. but sure may as well wait until the weekend/start of next week to start as more people will have more off their games played in FCL so might be looking more games to play blah blah blah so on and so forth
