Haye to Win by TKO Round 3

Haye to KO Bellew very early, I don't think it'll be Round 1 or even 2 as I think he'll try to inflict as much damage to him as he can. He's got right under his skin so I think he will ultimately pay for it. I'm going with a Round 3 KO.

Haye's only concern I is should it remarkably go into the latter rounds then his endurance and fitness may come into question which could favour Bellew due to the fact he's been fighting more often than Haye. I can't see it being a contest to be honest and more a mismatch.

Haye wants AJ and this is his launchpad to try and achieve that goal, Haye to win comfortably. Bellew's defence isn't the greatest as he proved vs BJ Flores, he got caught several times unfortunately he just didn't have the striking power & verocity Haye possesses.

Undercard:

Sam Eggington v Paul Malignaggi WBC International welterweight title - Eggington to Win by TKO
Ohara Davies v Derry Mathews WBC Silver super lightweight title - Davies to Win by TKO and go 15/0
Lee Selby v Andoni Gago - Selby to win late stoppage
Ted Cheeseman v Jack Sellars - Cheeseman to win by TKO
Katie Taylor v Monica Gentili - Taylor to win Round 1/2
David Allan v Dave Rowe - Allan lost to Ortiz & Whyte I think will lose on Points to Rowe
Craig Glover (2-0) v Jake Bonallie (Debut) - Difficult to Predict but Glover's been impressive last 2 fights, I'll stick with him by TKO.

Complete no contest when Haye ruptured his achilles on his back foot, unable to generate any real power or even maintain his balance. Credit to him for lasting as long as he did but I think common sense should've prevailed and the towel should've been thrown in straight away through Injury.

Still Bellew did what he wanted and won - I was disappointed with both boxers tbh - Haye looking for that 1 power punch all the time in the first5 rounds and Bellew stayed well away, hoping to come forward on the counter punch. Hope there's a rematch and we get to see a proper fight with no injuries for either.

Bellew was sluggish and Haye was what appeared to be erratic at times....injury ruined the contest.

Congratz to Bellew but it was a No Contest from Round 6

Yeah you're right lol he was struggling to stand up then he was basically just letting bellew hit him, hands downs everytime and just going straight to the ropes and staying backed up, was poor

Anyone catch the Burns vs Indongo fight? I really thought Burns was gonna pull this off easy but Burns seems to have definitely lost his competitive fire. Indongo made him look like an old man and also looked like he belonged a weight class above. I still wasn't impressed with Indongo tbh, he got caught loads of times but Burns just couldn't hurt him, it was like he was hitting a brick wall. Also Burns was making him miss BADLY at times. It was really only when Burns was trying to move forward and close the distance that Indongo was able to catch him with his long Orangutan arms, when Burns was on the back foot Indongo looked clueless and could barely land anything, only problem was Burns couldn't land a single shot on the back foot and even though Indongo wasn't landing much, he was getting through the guard one or two times which was enough. I have a feeling a lot of people will remember this and be putting their money on him against whoever he fights next, I'll be on the other side betting against him for sure.

I watched it mate and agree Burns was made to look extremely ordinary and Indongo won EVERY round 120-108 - I think Burns should just stop boxing now and let the youngsters thrive and dominate as they are beginning too.

Indongo had answers to everything and more which Burns tried to throw or utilize....the fact is, he was beaten to the punch throughout and IMO looked clueless into how to combat such a quality and dangerous opponent. Unlike yourself Indongo impressed me, okay got caught a lot BUT like you said Burns couldn't hurt him so it was causing and inflicting no harm to him so he walked threw them.

Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko very soon (29/04)....I think AJ will be too quick and powerful for him. This could be the time where AJ's chin gets tested once maore but I think he'll be fine and hopefully won't get caught like he did versus Dillian Whyte. IF he gets caught Klitschko will not hesitate to put the fight to bed and him to sleep.

I reckon AJ will finish the match in the mid stages so between Round 5 or 6.

Anyone watch the headbutt fight between Porter & Berto? How Porter didn't get DQ'd is beyond me, how many times did he need to collide his head with Berto' just to try and get the upper hand?

Ridiculous fight! The fight of the night was Charlot vs Hatley, wow that Charlot looks a quality fighter.

Oh and Murray vs Rosado, that judge scoring 118-109 is a disgrace to the sport, I had Murray winning but it was a lot closer than that joke of a result. 116-112 was more suitable.

Indongo had a good game plan I will give him that. He certainly showed some skills but I think the reason he was able to show them so well was because he was huge compared to Burns and Burns could not hurt him. I cant see Indongo getting past Garcia, Crawford Postol, or even Prograis or Granados. I think Broner would be a good fight for him.

I see Joshua vs Klitschko as a mismatch in Klitschkos favour. I know everyone is picking Joshua but I think the public are been fooled by all the Joshua hype. I know everyone thinks hes the truth and will be the one to take the heavyweight throne, I personally dont think hes as good as advertised. I know after the Fury fight there is this popular belief that Klitschko is too old and can no longer pull the trigger, I dont believe this is entirely true.

It seems everyone thinks cause Fury beat Klitschko that maybe Joshua can too. Heres the thing, Joshua isnt Fury. When people think of Fury they think of the idiot running round in the batman costume, the clown talking trash in all the press conferences, which seems to excuse that fact that hes a terrific boxer whos very serious when hes in the ring performing.

I just dont feel Joshua can emulate what Fury did. When was the last time you saw Joshua using lateral movement like Fury or Jennings did against Klitschko? Do people really think AJ is going to switch to southpaw and take away Klitschkos jab like Fury did? Joshua doesnt have a back foot game. Also about Klitschko been past his prime, what people need to do is look at Klitschkos best round in the fight, it was the 12th round, what old guy past his prime has his best round in the 12th against an opponent in his 20s? I just dont buy it.

Even looking at their opponents, if Klitschko fought Whyte, Martin or Breazeale would any of those guys be his best opponent?

I think what people need to do is forget the names for a moment and just do an abstraction, who has the better jab? Who has been 12 rounds? Who has fought the better opponents? Who has been knocked down and got up? After seeing how big Joshua is I'm concerned for him, it looks obvious that hes gonna come out and try and blast Klitschko out. I believe thats a huge mistake. Klitschko isnt Molina or Breazeale, Joshua is going to have a jab in his face, Klitschko can control distance.

Joshua isnt hyper aggressive when he gets caught. In fact when he got caught by Whyte how long did it take him to get the confidence to initiate ANYTHING? 4-5 rounds? He wasnt even trying to counter, he was just covering up and moving backwards in a straight line. Klitschko has problems with guys with lateral movement, he has problems with southpaws, has problems with inside fighters, but when was the last time you saw a guy come in and badly hurt Klitschko with a right hand in the first 4 rounds?

I think Klitschko is far too experienced to get taken out early by AJ, Klitschko knows too many tricks, he can move with your punches, tie you up and lean on you, keep you off balance. I see Joshua coming out trying to get inside and let his hands go and Klitschko just moving with him and staying just outside the pocket. I think AJ will catch up to Wlad early and land on him and Wlad will fire back and hurt AJ and we will slowly start to see him crumble.

Klitschko by stoppage in the 7th!

You have written a lot which makes sense but I disagree.

AJ to Stop the much experienced Klitschko within the 1st 4 Rounds, Klitschko won't be able to handle his power and precision. Shame as Klitschko' a class act and versus anyone else he'd probably win tonight....just not versus AJ.

Round 3 Stoppage by TKO to Anthony Joshua.

IF it goes over 7 Rounds then AJs stamina could a huge factor especially being the heaviest he ever has been. That's why I think it'll be a quick and early finish. I think Joseph Parker's AJ's main threat not tonight's Klitschko.

Did Fury really fight vs Klitschko? I only saw him make a few flurries and the rest of the time prance around the ring. He was scared of getting hit, I don't think AJ will be as much.

Class fight between 2 of the best Heavyweight Champions in the World. AJ getting knocked down in the 6th and hanging on for a couple of Rounds after putting Klitschko on the canvass in the 5th wasn't expected at all. Come the 11th Round after AJ's regained his composure literally takes out Klitschko with a ferocious assault starting with an awesome uppercut.

Before the 11th Round I thought AJ was going to lose on points or even get caught with another solid right hook. Delighted he won and showed he can take punches and still win, it'll do wonders for his confidence.

Class evening of boxing: Scott Quiggs fight was a great spectacle, both walking through each other's attacks. Defence from both was non existent. Like Campbells fight vs D. Perez was another great bout, Campbell's such a more mature and intelligent fighter nowadays...wanna see him rematch bs Yvan Mendy.

Gutted Lawrence Okolie didn't get to fight with the Quigg one going all the way, they ran out of time for the Undercard.

I thought Lewis was gonna be right again....thank heavens he wasn't LOL

Haha I was almost right, even though I was wrong I could have been right :P

Gotta give it to AJ, he had to dig deep, show heart and overcome adversity to win this. Im gutted for Wlad as he was 5 mins away from winning this, but at the same time he wasnt as the judges somehow had AJ up. So better to see him go out on his shield then get robbed.

When comparing him to future opponents such as Wilder, Parker, Ortiz, Ruiz, Povetkin, Pulev etc i will be remembering how close he was to losing this, not the knockout at the end, so it may seem like Im not giving Joshua his credit, but Im just been realistic, but Im not gonna talk about that now anyway, this is AJs moment and he earned it.

Hey I was close lol, AJ caught Klitschko earlyish, Klitschko fired back, AJ went on the back foot for several rounds and Wlad controlled the fight, AJ almost got stopped around the 6th-7th.

Just didnt call AJ surviving until the 11th and getting the KO.

This is surely the biggest fight since Mayweather vs Pacquiao? Unlike that fight I think this one will deliver in terms of entertainment too. Both have a fan base and Canelo is the biggest ppv star in boxing right now. Obviously the letsogchamp official breakdown will come at some point but my early thoughts are GGG has the advantage in this fight.
