Here are the fixtures for the upcoming premier league season.

I'm going for Chelsea to retain the title

United have got some really nice early fixtures, West Ham @ Old Trafford 1st match...the first time we've ever played the Hammers on the opening day of the Season. I've also noticed that the fixtures around the European dates (as they currently stand) shouldn't be too much of a hindrance either.

I'm going for the title to end up in Manchester.....United will be my choice (Mourinho WINS the title's in his 2nd Season!!!) but depends on how City's new players adapt and also how Guadiola copes with the what I'll expect to be more 'heightened pressure' this coming Season. They massively underachieved last time around, any slips up and Guadiola's management will be under major scrutiny.

I think Chelsea not having any European football played massively in to their hands and the fixtures really favoured them (how many matches were played on the following Monday???)....this time they will have the Champions League along with the other domestic cups....I think they'll struggle this one. Probably finish 3rd.

Top 5: Man Utd (1st), Man City (2nd), Chelsea (3rd), Arsenal (4th), Liverpool (5th)

Ash predicting United for the title, didn't see that one coming

You're making some good moves early on in the window. Can't say that I'm not jealous that United have signed someone already. Summer is long and the football doesn't compare without a big tournament (the World Cup next year will do nicely), us fans need some signings to get excited about!

I'm surprised about how much I'm hearing about Arsenal, quite a few ambitious signings and early activity. Sounds like Wenger's throwing everything at one last season. Though it could all end in typical Arsenal fashion with disappointment after much promise. Everton also throwing some weight around.

Yeah I agree there mate, I must admit every time I read Arsenal want to sign Kylian Mbappe I laugh. There is absolutely no chance he will leave Monaco, a team already in the Champions League for one in the Europa. I know that sounds rather hypocritical but Arsenal do not have the same appeal as Manchester United.

I think Chelsea's lack of movement with transfers doesn't bode them very well, especially when reported today possible fractions between Manager and Board. I expect Liverpool to sign a fair few amount of players, I'd say 4 or 5 incoming and the same amount to leave. Jurgen Klopp will be able to attract a high quality group of player and I expect you to purchase a BIG named one soon enough.

Man City are buying a lot of players BUT are they really doing the right thing? I mean the more players they sign the more those already within the club might start to feel obsolete and unwanted. Raheem Sterling's game time looks drastically reduced with them purchasing Bernardo Silva (A VERY Good Player, gutted we didn't get him!). Their ability and willingness to throw money around without negotiation(s) could become an issue soon enough. Selling clubs will exploit their finances and do exactly what they are with United, drive a ridiculous bargain or demand extortionate transfer fees.

Everton look like they are building well, looks like the end for Ross Barkley with Davy Klaasen signing. Surprised Lukaku's still there, could be a ploy to try and change his mind?

City have too many older players though. They've cleared out their fullbacks, they've been trying to sort out the centre of their defence for several years, they highlighted a goalkeeper issue last season which they did awfully to address and they've had another clear out.

Bernardo Silva is supposed to be a direct replacement for David Silva, I think anymore signings will just be replacements for the likes of Navas, Toure, etc.

I don't think they need to sell Lukaku, so they're just going to hold out for a big fee. It's one of the more expensive positions to replace but one of the easier in terms of getting a like for like replacement. Shouldn't be too difficult to buy a similar striker so they don't have to change their transfer policy depending on whether they keep him or not.

It's a huge chunk of money though, £180 mill plus De Gea (potentially getting Morata in the deal) is being suggested which looks about right with Madrid initially suggesting £350 million. Add to that his wages and your must be getting close to FFP limits if you sign a couple more players after. He's certainly make a difference, but you'd surely get the same if not more spending the money on a few players.

Looks like Salah's deals been completed and you're once again being linked with Aubameyang. He's a quality forward and i'd like to see him feature in the Premier League. I think this deal might be done if he's not offered an insane & ridiculous offer from China.

Whatever money we spend on Ronaldo, we'll make a chunk back through merchandise, sponsors, image rights etc. So yeah he's 32 years old but he has the physique and ability to play for a few more years at the top but also a less progressive role when it's time to hang up his boots.

I'd be happy with just one deal finalised st the moment, not heard anything about Aubameyang coming so will take that with a pinch of salt for now

Problem with Ronaldo is you won't get an awful lot of it. You won't own his image rights, you don't get that much of a cut from shirt sales even if they are massively boosted and he has his own sponsors. It's different to Pogba who was younger and didn't already have a lot of deals already set up (and I think you got his image rights if I remember correctly). No doubt you'd make a lot from some deals but it's not half as much as you'd expect it to be.

You'd end up funding it though sale of players and already existing incomes (TV revenue is a big one now, roughly £150 million for last season just from the premier league).

He was intending to play for another 10 years (though just how accurate that is we can't tell yet, one bad injury and that's the end of it), certainly he'll last longer than most outfield players. I'd rather have Mbappe though, 14 years his junior with bags of potential and could well be the next generation (and nearly half the price).

I like Mbappe mate but I think he needs at least another season at Monaco to learn some more but try to emulate his brilliance this one. IF he emulates it then he's definitely going to be an awesome player and more than likely become Ronaldo's successor at Real Madrid. I cannot see him joining anyone else tbh.

I think there's a few quality young players coming, I'm a fan of Marco Asensio, Sergej Milinkovic-savic, Saul Niguez, Samuel Castillejo, Andre Silva and the young Italien Striker Andrea Pinamonti. ALL of those along with Mbappe are destined to become superstars.

Not sure how much closer this Salah deal can get considering it was virtually done days ago

Looks like the fee is less than what was expected to be, £34 million. Not bad if he's a hit, but we need to see him play in our system now!

Fabinho & Morata reported to be Very Close to Completion by Di Marzio ( Very Reliable & Reputable Italian Journalist). He knew about the Pogba & Mkhitaryan deals before anyone else last year.

Lacazette very close to joining Arsenal but I can see Sanchez leaving for Man City.

Everton are on the verge of Signing Moussa Dembele from Celtic with Lukaku going to Chelsea.

Supposedly Lukaku to United, I wouldn't mind him playing for us, just hope Morata joins too especially with Rooney and Ibrahimovic on the outgoing list.

Yeah Arsenal were lucky but Watford fully deserve their 3-3, another great match but shoddy defending again.

Shodding defending it was but there 3rd goal was so offside it was a joke. We need a better centre back who wants to header balls lol .
