Hi Nick... Love what you've done in the past month. Just one bit of (constructive) criticism. See how, in the UK version, when you're opponent has ball in hand, you can see where he/she places it when he/she places it and then the shot that follows? In the US pool you can't see the cueball after a foul until the opponent has taken his shot. How's about it?

Cheers mate

The US 8ball is excellent. My only question is on the rules. I understood that in US pool it's not a foul to pot an opponents ball, as long as you pot one of your own first (in same shot). Isn't that correct, or is that only in my one-horse town?

9 ball would be the next best thing Nick could do.

Although most people play the rule stated above, it is in fact illegal in PRO US 8 ball to sink an opponents ball under ANY circumstance.

Most bar rules change that, but the pro's are what we are going for. This way it stays 100% real.

Bar rules also say NO BALL IN HAND. Ball in hand is professional rules.

Forgot to say...Hope this helps!

Also there is no ball must touch rail rule after the break. It is set for any ball in hand. That is not right.

i don't like it too much. but then again, i suppose i like the old school game/setup alot better, so i was always going to dislike it no matter what.

Well done anyway!
