I know a girl on here, named justsumgirl,
Who isnt just some girl at all.
I imagine her with a necklace, carrying a pearl,
Whenever she's here we have a laugh and a ball.
We never like her absence, the forum goes dead,
I sit and write poems for her pleasure.
She gives us a title, that runs through my head,
The extent of her joy- i dont think could be measured.
So i write a quick poem, wait for a reply,
And hope that she thought it was great.
So day after day, our good times fly by,
And i feel proud to say that she is my mate.
So here it is Paula, a poem just for you,
I hope that it finds you, as it found me.
I'll always write one to cheer you up, whenever you feel blue,

The sun
The sun is something i live for,
i would be really dull if it was not there.
I love to the see the sunr rays soar,
I look out to the sun, without any care.
It lights up my life, as well as the earth,
And helps all the little things grow.
It has been by my side ever since my birth,
And it will always be there, this fact i know.
Some places he shows up more often,
And gives a brownish tint to the skin.
With the light on my face, my tone will soften,
Aan warm up my heart, that is deep down within.
He says goodbye and sets for bed,
While his sister the moon shines through.
They provide us with sight while we rest our head,
And give a sense of security - to me and to you.
If he had a hand it would be shook,
If he ate i would always cook,
I see him as my friend,
who will be there til my end.

just found this thread and cannot believe,
these catchy rhymes these poolers concieve,
so i promise to visit as ive written a few,
coz they're all on posts......not here to view.

been impressed so far think you ve all got some rhymes,
not too sure about writng but i'll share some of mine,
i do it on-line, at home and at work,
just hoping to god i don't sound like a berk!

I just took the notion,
So on Monday it began,
I nearly fell by the wayside,

She's been awful quiet,
Has she got Funkyblues??
I do hope she's alright,
