I was hoping we'd run an simultaneous FBL fixture at the same time, but with a week longer deadline.

Also, a few of us Uprising players are planning a game of killer for 10pm Friday. Hoping a few of you can make it too.

Good to see fellow clanmates taking this clan friendly killer seriously. First game was set up perfectly in terms of safeties. Myself, northy and potslots were all behind uprising players, so there was no reason to not go out for killing straight away.

Second game was more awkward. It was us 3 in a row against uprising's players 3 in a row. I had to play the safeties as uprising's players were in front of me. I had some very nice set up safeties from fellow clan players. I managed to take out thegame26 an then erigert but dv8 played some great shots and managed to take the win.

Very tactical play from her. For someone who rates themselves so highly, it was pretty unexpected. So I played tactical too. She got the advantage in 8us mostly. She'd cover pockets with her balls well. I found myself having to be the one to try an break her balls up most of the time, an sometimes coming off badly. I did also throw away a few frames but so did she.

And i'm just gonna throw this out there. It hasn't got anything to do with my game against Harriet.

But why is FCL still an odd number of games? If you find yourself fortunate you can get 1 break more than your opponent in each game type you play.

Now in 8us. Harriet broke 3 times as she did in 9us. Now if she'd had a specific break in those game types, an she got 3 golden breaks or 3 run outs, I wouldn't be to happy.

See, I just knew you were going to bring this up.... I broke first in 8US and 9ball. You broke first in 8UK; if you see the log, I got a gb on the second frame, which you can only do if you break.

What's your point? If you read what I wrote in the first place, and get a better pair of specs. You'd notice I wrote "I think Harriet broke off first in each of the 3 games" If you didn't than I apologise.

But my point was simply this... Why is FCL still 15 frames? When it can give players an advantage in terms of breaking?

Some players have a well known break in game types, i've played people before now that have hit 3 golden breaks in 8us in a row.

Now surely if that was to happen in an FCL game in whatever type. That'd be an issue.
