No it doesn't mate, I had to uninstall it and download Java 7.

FOR ANYONE HAVING JAVA TROUBLE!!... You firstly have to completely uninstall Java off you computer, restart your computer, then google java 7 and install any version of v7. run on i.e or opera... it will try and get you to update a lot. never do it.. just click do it later and all will be well... If you have any problems just look for different version of java 7 like 7.3 etc. (always uninstall java completely the restart your computer before installing a different version java. hopefully this helps a few people if any other trouble message me or a site moderator
