I think that stealth MIGHT mean reinstalling Vista completely, but this is only a guess.

If that is the case then exactly why would he possibly need to format his HD that many times...?

Stealthbird, why would you activate something which is already activated? Your previous post confuses me, if you did format your hard drive 10 times then i expect that the copy of Vista you have will have an installation limit of 10.
