That is exactly the same as Limewire Pro (i.e. all the same features etc. it even looks the same). The only differences are it's name (Frostwire) and the colour (blue instead of green). Everything else about it is identical to Limewire Pro (to the best of my knowledge), and it won't cost you a penny.

GET BASIC LIMEWIRE, THEN if you like it, pay for limewire pro.
Simple, and legal.

Nope. Frostwire was developed using the Limewire Pro source code. All they changed is the GUI. The only feature you get with Limewire Pro that isn't in Frostwire is the free tech support.
To be honest, there isn't that much difference between basic and pro anyway (especially now the free version has had bittorrent support added), which is why it appears to be the same as Limewire Basic.

Nope. Frostwire was developed using the Limewire Pro source code. All they changed is the GUI. The only feature you get with Limewire Pro that isn't in Frostwire is the free tech support.

Well in theory the downloads are slightly faster than Limewire Basic (which seemed to be true when I tried it), and it returns more search results because it connects to more ultrapeers. They're basically the only noticable differences between Basic and Pro anyway.
Frostwire alows firewall to firewall transfers too which I don't think is possible in Basic... and it doesn't constantly ask you to pay for the Pro version either.
Either way, Soulseek is by far the best P2P program out there in my opinion, anyway.
