Wondering if anyone knows of a fix to my issue?
i got a new monitor- 22 in lcd, the driver disc didnt work so i downloaded driver, it is up to date
my res keeps dropping to 600x800 almost every time i open a new window sometimes more often.
i went into the advanced driver settings and forced my desired setting but alas it still changes.
this seems to happen more often in chrome than ie8.
Ideas?

chrome is poor is the solution

try firefox see if it still does it

that fixed it but using firefox most webpaes are missing stuff, funkypool is plain white as is facebook etc, am i missing some update or something?

i had that once, i just uninstalled firefox and reinstalled and it was fine
