Is it really appropriate to have adverts for eCigarettes on a website with loads of members under 18?

i saw one for rolf's greatest hits....

I saw one that was "Need a new cooker?" from Currys, bloody insulting, the thought of me cooking food.

I saw one for Asian ladies, half naked, provocatively dancing around. No complaints here

It's not like it's an advert for Cuban cigars lol

The adverts that show are normally looseley based on what you have been looking at online. so the fact that mine showed gimp mask and whips a day after i got drunk was slightly worrying me.

I've had these and I'm not sure why as I only play on the work computer....

Do ya think they can check my history??

Mine is only on my work computer, so it's not like I am gonna be sat in my office polishing the woodwork.

eCigarettes are not really inappropriate given some of the stuff some people have said has popped up on theirs. eCigarettes actually promote less/no smoking as i use one of them now and have done for six/seven months and keep cutting down now on the strongness of the bottles of liquid.

In reply to this, I know a lot of under 18's who smoke, they shouldn't, but if that advert could help them, surely it is ok?

Seeing that advert is not going to make you want to smoke a real cig, it is a plastic 'toy' which contains real nicotine, which yes, is addictive, but not bad for your health, unlike the tar and all the other poisons inside it.

I've got one of those Socialites things (not the disposable look-a-like ciggy) and think they're awesome! Still want a smoke though as I enjoy the taste and feeling but I've got to stop really lol. Well done on 6/7 months though, ever feel like you want to start again now?

I only smoke when I drink, so I don't smoke during the day at work, but of a weekend I do end up having a few.
